Deadlift Max vs. Bodyweight

455 @ 148 bwt. Raw and lifetime drug free.

wow old thread
405 @ 175
friend did 315 for a few @ 135

some strong dudes here.
525 @ 290 belt only

Lookin for a nice bump up in a month or so…

450@198 belt only

My best dead/bodyweight ratio ever was a while ago when I was light.

At this point, I was 185, 6 foot, very lean and drug free. 185 is thin for 6 foot, so I was athletic, but certainly not big yet.

Raw, and no belt or straps, just chalk.

pulled 465 conventional - probably not a meet lift, I was pretty young and I probably hitched.

I think my best “performance” ever though at that weight was 418 for 3 on a platform.

Olympic bumper plates go in Kg, hence the number.

455 @ 164 around 3 weeks ago…working my way up 500

lots of strong ass people here

415 @ 177

kmc

I just hit 495lbs no belt/no straps at 195lbs body weight

175Kg @ 88.5Kg (385lbs @ 194.7lbs)
No Straps, No Belt, Staggered grip. 4 Months ago. Age 18

190Kg @ 90Kg (418lbs @ 198lbs)
No Straps, Belted, Staggered Grip. 1 Month Ago. Age 19

Man that sounds brutal.

Mind you just because I couldn’t lift it doesn’t mean it’s brutal for you.

I never looked at it that way before actually…does that equate properly? isn’t it really still just 396lbs hoisted 8 times for 5 sets with 120 secs rest in between? (and more like 220 secs before the fith set)

Cheers though >> realises he has been sounding like an ungratefull whiny bitch <<<

Yeah, But in one session, Certainly a good number.
Think the most I’ve done personally is 308lbs (140Kg) x 4 x 8 = 9856lbs with 90 seconds rest per set.

My best is a very poor 250kg @ 100kg (550lb at 220lb) in just a belt (and as a junior lifter drug free, since everyone’s qualifying!).

Working hard on pulling that up. Would like to hit at least a 600lb pull before summer’s out (raw if possible) and then onto 300kg/662lb by year end.

Ridiculously high, but it’s really about time I pushed my dead. It’s the one lift holding me back fro ma good total.

200kgs at 88kgs BW raw (no belt double overhand hookgrip)

Go for it dude! a 300kg dead would be a magnificent accomplishment.

I’ve pulled 545 @ 181, raw, no belt.

I’ve got a meet in about 3 weeks now and hope to bump that up a little closer to 600!
