Dchris's Grappling with Age

Cool! I know we don’t connect much, but it would be cool to meet up - Loprinzi’s gym is wacky as fuck, but Salt and Straw would be cool as well. I know you like ice cream.

Food makes me so happy. Why do I limit my happiness?

Very True! I pulled a tricep trying to throw a baseball hard without warm ups in high school. Not fun!

Ha! That’s how I golf. Just aim my body left a bit and watch the ball fly towards the hole.

You know I was a PGA Golf Pro, right?

And, I think I might know a range where we could fix this. Hmmm, maybe in Corvallis?

Lol, I was being facetious knowing you’d see that.

If I wasn’t away while you’re there, I’d suggest meeting up for a threesome with my coworker.

Wife was out of town all weekend with friend. I’m way behind at work, so went to office and put 10 hours in. I finally crossed the 72 hour barrier (6x 12 hour days, on average)

Saturday night…
Met up with two guys from the baseball league for dinner… which turned into lots of alcohol. But not just alcohol, beer! Which I’m allergic too. But, fuck it, I drank 16. I also, threw up several times throughout the night and had hives.

Sunday
I have drank 3 gallons of water and barely pissed. My weight is somewhere around 219… up 12lbs

My gym membership is really for where I travel to, but there is one 30 minutes from home. I was too tired of driving today to bother, so lifted in garage.

Sunday Night workout
20 minutes of stair climber sprints
Minute 1-3: 20 seconds in, 10 off
Minute 3-19: 30 on, 10 off
Minute 20: on

Shoulder workout
5x12x40lb KBs

OH Plate raises
3x15x45lb
3x25x25lb

Lateral Raises
3x15

Good news is I was down a lb last week! Bad news is, might have to kill my self this next week.

While I regret how drunk I got, because it set me back a bit. Was nice to get out with friends. Think the last time I did was December.

(Edit) Also… started and finished Flywheel by Jim Collins. Pretty good book just detailing chapter 8 of from Good to Great.

While your work week sounds brutal, Saturday night sounds awful. I prefer to keep my puking to a maximum of zero.

Yea… that was a first and probably a last.

Definitely agree with that. My days of throwing up drunk are definitely behind me.

GREETINGS READERS AND SUPPORTERS OF CHRIS’ LOG! If you’ve been reading along, you know Chris and I have been working together for a little over 4 months now in an effort to get him a physique he’s never had, primarily leaning out to 6-pack territory, while building muscle and a proportional physique. We’ve completely overhauled his training, and nutrition, from what he was doing before we started working together, and he’s made outstanding progress thus far. Down 22lbs in a little over 4 months. When considering his work and travel schedule, it’s very impressive.

On our weekly call this morning, Chris filled me in on his drink fest he posted about, and some nutritional decisions that have been holding him back from reaching his goals. Among other things, we talked about the aspect of accountability, and how holding yourself accountable as much as possible, is a huge factor in achieving success in whatever it is you’re trying to do. It is in that spirit that I have given Chris an assignment, and to ensure his accountability, am making this post on Chris’ behalf (with his permission of course!)

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT FOR THE NEXT 4 WEEKS, CHRIS WILL BE UPLOADING AN IMAGE OF EVERYTHING HE CONSUMES THAT CONTAINS CALORIES, LIQUID OR SOLID

Chris’ travel schedule is a primary factor that affects his progress. Just today we had our usual weekly call, he’s driving 3-4 hours somewhere for work, he stays in an AirBnB more often than his own house, and is forced to eat on the road quite often. We’ve talked about techniques for surviving, and thriving, with nutrition and training while traveling. To hold him accountable for his decisions on the road, he’ll be posting an image of everything he consumes. Given his travel schedule, many of these pics will probably be quick posts with little to no text, or maybe one post in the evening with all his food for the day, but, the responsibility of posting these images will be an incredible experience.

With your permission, I would like to involve you in this process! We are going to help Chris by holding him accountable, in looking for these pics. If 24 hours goes by without seeing any pics, I ask you to blow up his log with posts, demanding to see them!

We start with Chris’ first meal of the day, on the road, which he texted me. Rest of the pics will be uploaded by Chris.

Thank you folks for your support, I have no doubt Chris will reach his goals and have a 6-pack at the end of this journey!

I thought we said two weeks? Ah well.

Jimmy Johns - lettuce wrapped sandwich. Roast beef, provolone and tomato. Chart says 460 calories, but I didn’t have mayo.

Man, that’s discipline! My favorite part of JJs is the bread and mayo.

I did. That’s a good looking sandwich you got there! One of my go-to meals on the road!

Dirty dog.

Dinner from tonight.

Salmon Salad. Didn’t eat the olives or tomatoes.

Also, had an hour and half between meetings around lunch-ish time. Decided to get a back workout in and had time for 15 minutes in treadmill. Then, tonight after dinner, I got another 25 minutes in on elliptical.

Also… I had two mints because my breath was bad. Mints belong to co-worker.
