Arm day today, which means that it was a great day of course. The most important training day of the week!
Very productive Leg day! Squatted 305 for 10 for the first time ever and the hack Squat Cluster set was hell on earth. So yeah it was a tremendous workout even though I was very sleepy.
Do you legit press more than you squat?
Haha rpe 11!
He’s a true bodybuilder ![]()
Haha not quite my squat has always been a bit heavier, but definitely closer than one would expect lol. I don’t think I can bench 305 for 10 yet. 10s on squats suck, in the past I’ve primarily done squats in the 2-6 rep range, so I’ve got a lot of room for rep PRs on 10s!
Chest and shoulders was fun today. I love a chance to press something heavy. Had some pretty crazy chest striations and vascularity when I was doing the cable crossovers which was pretty cool
Really good Back day. Meadows rows and banded chins are such an awesome combo. Any workout that opens with those two moves is a winner. Going a little heavier on rack pulls was great too and actually moved better than 365 last week.
up to me and asked me a million questions which was pretty funny. I tried to give them some good advice, eat a lot of food, sleep 10 hours a night. Usually my gym is pretty much empty so I’m not used to socializing a whole lot when I’m there haha
is the start of this story missing ?
lol yeah I accidentally posted the picture of my training journal before my story and I guess when I tried to fix it I deleted the whole story. I was just saying that there were a couple of teens in the gym that came up to me and were asking me a million questions. I didn’t mind at all because they were extremely polite and complementary and I appreciate that they respected my opinion so much.
Careful mate you will be the old experienced guy like me before you know it. LOL
Yeah it was definitely surreal. It feels like yesterday that I was the high schooler trying to soak up as much training info as possible
I can understand people asking you questions as you look awesome.
I’m so impressed with your transformation. If you could sell it you’d make millions.
I really really appreciate that man! I think the answer really lies in my love for training brutally hard, and having a diet that is extremely driven by complete protein sources, easily digestible carbs and healthy fats. I will eat ice cream or some kind of cheat type food every week, sometimes multiple times. Genetics definitely play into it, but genetics don’t take you from point A to point B without the daily work that’s required.
Big push day with lots of PRs last night. My sleepiness did not slow me down as I was hitting some big boy numbers (for me) with no problems, no stress. After the heavy stuff was finished, I just pushed myself to the limit on the 7 remaining exercises and got one hell of a pump (the landmine Press actually felt super heavy and difficult).
Now that’s a great session. Great work on the massive PR weights!
Thank you very much sir!! Just trying to constantly push myself to new limits!
Great back day today. Got to push the Meadows Rows and Pull ups really hard. About to cycle some of these exercises out so it was awesome giving them a big last hurrah today.
Absolutely bonkers Leg day. I psyched myself out a little bit with 315 on the bar for squats for sets of 8. Thankfully I had the right music for the occasion and was able to sack up and just hit it. The last rep of both sets was very grindy but that didn’t matter, I got to rack the bar and live to log another day.
The leg press ascending set after the squats and reverse Lunge drop set of death was something cooked up in the devil’s kitchen. Started off easy and ended with my quads so engorged with blood I could barely bring myself back to standing on my feet.
These aren’t just’for you’ numbers, these are just straight up big boy numbers.
Nice work sir
