Dave Hoff Is the Greatest

Now I know I’m going to get a lot of hate for this and some possible death male lol but If you read this correctly you’ll understand what I’m saying. Dave hoff might be the greatest powerlifter of all time.

I trained over at westside about 2 weeks ago and i found out a lot in the 3 days I spent there. 1) Everyone I’m there would dominate a raw meet. 2) Louie Simmons is still really f***** strong! 3) There is no gym with a higher intensity.

Now why is Dave Hoff the greatest of all time? Well not only because of the whole greatest equipped total of all time, but because of his raw numbers. I figured he’d be a 750-800 raw squatter. Well…I was mistaken. He can medium stance free squat 915. I’m sorry to shit all over everyone that rips on his squat depth and that he squats like a pussy, but I’m just telling you the way it is. Moving on to the bench press, he did 665 raw off a 1 board my last day there…freak. And now onto the deadlift. He only pulls with a suit once a month and at the meet, they all said his raw pull is around 790.

So there you have it. 900 + 650 + 780 = 2330. that’s an estimate and that 915 squat was done last December. Feel free to comment.

Ed Coan is the greatest powerlifter of all time. Ask Dave Hoff. He’ll agree.

this

also, he squats high as shit, also, trying to use a one board to gauge someones bench is pointless

Until its done in a meet it didn’t happen. Then pound for pound many still beat that. Andrey has def out totaled that and did it pretty easy. Maybe one of the best IF he would do a raw meet…maybe.

I’m sure he can medium stance free squat 915. I’m also pretty sure that squat would be as high as eagle pussy. From the way he handles himself in interviews, and how in all of his meet videos hes knocking someone over, he seems like a jackass. I wonder if he had knee wraps under his shirt when he hit that 1 board?

I’m not doing this again. Obvious troll is obvious.

What the hell is “death male”??

Lame troll. Not funny and not original.

How am I trolling if I just spit facts? I’m sorry you probably lift raw and can’t even total 1000

I have too much respect for Westside to believe that you aren’t a troll. I imagine the people there have better things to do than start a pissing contest on an internet forum.

I’ve posted this before, but I’ll do it again since the numbers you proposed are not in line. The guys at Outlaws forum, who train at Westside (and post with their real names, btw), agreed that Hoff was most likely a 750-550-750 kind of guy. So either you are way overestimating Hoff or they are far under.

Who to believe, I wonder?

It depends on how you define the term “raw” I suppose, I do like my knee wraps and belt. They both allow me to lift more weight.

I’m not sure what this is, but I’d definitely avoid it…

I don’t think anyone will argue against Hoff being strong, but he is a multiply competitor. There’s no sense in comparing him to a raw competitor. It’s a different style of lifting. Besides, anyone who can hold 1200+lbs on their back can’t really be weak can they?

This.

I’m sorry I’m telling what they told me and what I saw. Some people will do whatever it takes to belittle a multi-ply lifters, I thought this was the hardcore lifting site where bodybuilding is for pussies? I left that site for a reason, because I couldn’t stand all of the fags who can’t squat or deadlift more than any westside could bench hungover.

I agree that Dave Hoff is most definitely a strong guy but to say he’s the greatest lifter ever is absurd. Even if he did have those numbers which honestly sound a bit inflated, maybe not by much but at least a bit, that means on his best day he wouldn’t even be the best lifter in the 275’s not to mention overall. Honestly, if he was made to go to legal squat depth and do an actual bench press he probably wouldn’t even crack top 3 in the 275’s. Again if you would’ve kept it to multi-ply powerlifting he does have the highest total of all time, but to say he’d have the same success if he jumped into a raw meet is just wrong.

If I was Dave Hoff, I would do a raw meet and purposely post shitty numbers just to see what would happen. Im talkin like, get red lighted for depth twice on purpose, then fake-grind a 315 3rd attempt.

Everyone would roll their eyes, and go “That was a lame ass joke.”

This thread is silly. Dave Hoff is a fantastic multiply lifter. Until he posts some raw numbers at meet, there’s no point talking about it.
