Dat Puffy-MuscleBrah (How I Train)

Thanks bro, my mistake, you look leaner in that pic with db’s and just as big, and I thought it was before the bulk, haha; that would be alot of time and work for nothing. goodluck

I haven’t read the entirety of this whole thread, but I think most would agree after you get to certain level of weights, you CANT do 2 major muscles groups in the same day. IMO after a major muscle group you should be pretty dam tired…

Awesome work though!
Ill definitely agree with this. My back and triceps day is so brutal i can barely walk out of the gym after, the thought of adding another major muscle group in there makes me sad.
Doing shoulders alone can often take an hour or more and doing anything else like back or legs would be damn near impossible without just going through the motions.
True, when i really think about it, the only muscle groups i can work in with others is bis and tris. Everything else just takes too much energy now.

And to think i started out doing total body workouts, squat deadlift and bench 3 times a week LOL.
I think theres more to consider here. I think an advanced lifter can hit two major workouts in the same day and multiple times per week. Just lower the volume, increase the frequency and exercise selection.
Yeah but if you are a higher volume guy like me, its brutal to try and hit something like back and shoulders or back and chest in the same day. Not everyone can get the same benefits from a lower volume approach. I used to be able to but as i became more developed it became necessary to increase the volume and intensity.

your avatar is deceiving

but very good transformation anyways

your vid is fucking AWESOME!!! I want pink shorts.

I’m back training full time, work life balance, for the first time in yrs i stopped training for like 5+ months, i ate like a bird too…

result - i lost 35lbs.

good news - abs are in! bad news i’m now adding back size, I’ve put 12-15lb back on and am in the low 190’s…

Paul you mentioned living near ATL. yourself and the other dude asking about training near ATL. if you ever want to meet up and catch a workout, let me know. i prefer to train alone but just for T-Nation unity…it would be cool. i met Stu yrs back at a show in NY.

Paulie, whats your weight in all three pictures? Good job, how much more are you going to cut?

Hell yeah man. I got a lot going on this month… but after finals I’d be down to meet up and workout or something man. It’d definitely be cool to meet someone from t-nat.

I didn’t know you lived in ATL man, you’ve been away from T-Nation for a while.

I’m going to cut until I have a six pack. Hopefully this is only another 10lbs or so.

You think so?
Maybe I think my arms just look smaller from the front because my biceps are dwarfed by my triceps.
I dunno though maybe.

I appreciate the compliment though man.
