What 40 time to you need to run in NASCAR?
How strong to you have to be?
What ball handling ability?
What situational awareness do you need? (with OUT someone telling you what to do in a helmet radio)
Fuck ESPN. Why the fuck do they call NASCAR, billiards and poker “sports” but then I have to buy a special channel or go to an Irish pub at 4:00 in the morning to watch a rugby match - you know, a REAL man’s game?
Danica Patric is average to slightly above average. ANY average chick can look good when you airbrush the fuck out of her and pose her on a Cobra in a bikini.
It is all about weight. That is why all of the drivers are like 5 foot tall, and weight no more than 150. The rules are all about the car. You want to open up the sport to everyone then start to use the weight of both the car and driver and not just the car. Women should actually have an advantage over men in race car driving. They are shorter and weigh less.
"NASCAR bases its cars on a 180-pound driver. If the driver is 180 pounds or more, the car must weigh 3,300.
A driver who weighs 170-179 pounds must add 10 pounds to the car, while a driver 160-169 pounds must add 20, a driver 150-159 pounds must add 30 and any driver under 150 pounds must add 40.
Patrick, whose weight is estimated between 100 and 110 pounds, therefore drives a car at least 30 pounds lighter than most of the other drivers. Mark Martin, the lightest male driver, weighs around 130 pounds.
â??You canâ??t keep chasing something that has minimal effect,â?? NASCAR vice president of competition Robin Pemberton said about the 40-pound maximum weight added to Patrickâ??s car. â??We want to keep the cars as light as we can anyways. Weâ??re working in that direction. "

I’m almost positive they added weight to her Indy Car back in the day. As far as your weight and height “standards” are you basing that on NASCAR or Indy or F1 or what? There are a lot of varying sizes in NASCAR.

So the max weight is 180 lbs? If you go above that then there is a disadvantage to that driver. I would have loved to be a race car driver, but I am 6’5" tall and even at my lightest weight in High School before putting on any muscle I was still 225 lbs. I am very broad. I would be at a disadvantage to becoming a race car driver. Danica has an advantage because of her weight. The top drivers in Nascar and Indy are all little. You dont see a 6’5" 265 lb driver in either of those. That was my only point.
