who the heck is batman?
Serra at least had bigger credentials than Hardy, if he wins it would SURELY be the upset of the year.
Kurt Pelligrino = batman
Serra is not fighting GSP, so that’s moot. Serra beating GSP was a fluke anyways.
That’s a nice fluke, every former champion of the UFC get’s a nice pay-check!
I’m going to put it out there, i think Hardy might just win…

And I’m going to win the lottery and bang Megan Fox.

He certainly has a punchers chance, beyond that, not much more.
OK GSP was obviously the suprior fighter, but fuck!..Dan Hardy is 1 tuff SOB! The 2 arm bars and the arm behind the back thingy(just started watching MMA) that Hardy got out of was seriously impressive. This fight proved GSP is the superior athlete/fighter, but it also proved what kind of heart Dan Hardy has. Dude is game, and IF he ever becomes close to the fighter GSP is…watch out.

hows that working out for ya?
Bocek got the W in my eyes…the judges must have been watching a different fight. Bocek dominated all 3 rounds.

Its called a Kimura…its a shoulder lock and Hardy MUST be made of rubber

I know its sad bro sorry…I Box at gym that also has MMA fighters, shoot I even spar with them. I guess I should probably learn about the sport out of respect for my gym partners if anything.
Not had the chance to watch the fight yet, but to go 5 rounds with GSP is pretty impressive, however i did hear it was quite one sided - a great game plan well stuck to by GSP by the sounds of it…

honestly, the only reason it went 5 rounds was because GSP chose not to break Hard’ys arm (or dislocated his shoulder). he took him down at will (literally looked as though Hardy never trained on spawling), out-punched him, and passed his gaurd constanly.
it was funny how GSP apologized for his performacne…

Good point, most people probably didn’t even notice that when they did stand and strike GSP landed more punches.

Yep,he dictated the fight in ALL areas. I guarantee his shoulder is fucked up today as well.

How did that look to you Big? To me it looked like GSP was trying not to break his arm. If he had punched that submission instead of easing it I think there would have been immediate stoppage. Not that I wanted to see Hardy get his arm broken, and in fact I’m glad it didn’t turn out that way. But it seems that GSP was really trying to avoid that scenario.

Indeed… an amazingly one sided fight - GSP was excellent

For all the time that GSP allowed the fight to stay standing, he totally bossed and beat Hardy to the punch (and Kick) everytime

I’m obviously not Boss, but it looked like GSP let go out of kindness [for lack of a better term] when the only other option was breaking/tearing something on Hardy. It’s been said to death, but outside of some fluke ko there is absolutely nothing anyone at 170 can do against St. Pierre. His striking is obviously the weakest part of his game and he was still quite a bit more polished than Hardy. It’s time to move up.

GSP made some small technical mistakes with the armbar and kimura…more so with the armbar. Most people would have tapped from the kimura…Hardy was thinking about it himself.
When GSP moves up,his career will start rolling downhill, imo. Guys are just so much bigger at 185. I’m not saying that he can’t compete…but he is not going to dominate MW division.
