Dex looked great and you could argue he got shafted a bit. i’m a Kai fan but he wasn’t dialed in and looked a bit smaller softer than at the Arnold months previous, especially by Sat. evening.
Branch is kind of ugly in my opinion but there is no doubt he did the work, smaller waist, full and huge, vascular, grainy, hard, he was the most conditioned guy on stage. that said it could have gone jay kai dex branch, or jay dex kai branch and the only arguments would be from branch and Dex, branch because…well he nailed it, and Dex because he’s the 08’ O so of couse he’s going to be pissed.
I think they give way too many points for improvements vs who actually looks better, there is no way Branch looked second place material.
Does anyone else notice with the muscle control bodybuilders have they are pretty good dancers?
There are countless videos on youtube of bodybuilders doing the robot. It fun to watch for sure.

I was really disappointed by his Olympia showing, though. This video was my first introduction to Kai Greene’s posing…and I was expecting something to top this at Olypmpia…maybe next year. But seriously, probably one of the most dynamic posing routines I’ve ever seen. Somehow I think that massive Aleska—…something guy (there was some other thread about him, young guy, did the robot) guy was channeling Kai, but dammit if Kai didn’t nail this one routine.
Best posing routine ever.
Can’t say I’m on board with the hair, though.
