However, the chance of a thrombus being of the correct size from plaque build up and going into the correct arteriole to cause an embolism or a coronary has got to be rare in individuals of a certain age and health… those with less thrombosis’ to cause a problem in the first place.
I actually met an old friend again recently and he has just recovered from DVT - he is a 240lb 8% BB year round… He is also 50! I’ll have to see if he uses Eq much…!
I’ve been pondering just how small or not the chances of any trouble from eq in that regard are lately. I too am trying to get together the eq for my rehab cycle.
Anyone know of lifters or other, having any issues with the increase of RBC’s in any way, shape, or form?
And if so, what kind of doses they were using with it?
Anyone? Prisoner?
Sorry for the hijack Mousse!
Good luck with whatever you end up doing buddy.

Unless you have a pre-existing condition that leaves you at risk for a high hematocrit such as thrombocytopenia… Or a genetic hepatitis caused by hemochromotosis, you should be fine. Equipoise does help produce more Red blood cells, but lets not fool ourselves. EQ is definitely NOT EPO!
That being said, regular blood work to screen for such things is prudent. Get your blood work taken prior to the cycle and several weeks into the cycle. Taking 81mg of ASA (enteric coated) on a daily basis (so long as you don’t have an active stomac ulcer) is a good preventative plan as well.
Ensuring that you maintain adequate hydration is a good idea also. That doesn’t mean you need to drink gallons of water, because I am actually against drinking water excessively, as the latest research shows no benifits to that practice, and actually indicates increase strain on the kidneys… however just make sure you don’t get dehydrated.
If you do have a higher red blood cell count, your doctor can treat it, simply by bleeding off some blood. You can even donate blood if you so please. And don’t worry, the recipient is not going to grow a mustache, as the blood you donate is typically separated into blood products - i.e. Packed red cells, immunoglobulins, Platelets, and albumin. There will not be any steroids included.
