You said earlier you’re just trying to reach your natty limit faster. Your natty limit will be much smaller than 18 inch arms at 8% bf.
And Kenny’s absolutely right. You don’t have to lose muscle and look deflated when you cut, natural or not. You just have to do it right.
Experts please shed some light on the possibility of damaging hpta forever due to light usage of aas

You’re not ready for this if you have to ask.
To get back to your original post: I would say that you’re too young in real years and in training years.
Physiologically and psychologically speaking you haven’t matured yet. Your HPTA should still be running fantastically and you should be able to get a lot more out of that without unnecessary and potentially harmful “enhancements”.
You don’t have the training experience yet to know how you respond to different programs and training modalities. You probably haven’t dealt with injuries much. You don’t know how to cut properly; you lose a lot of muscle as you admitted yourself. You probably haven’t much experience in how to handle plateaus (my guess is you’re running out of beginner gains and your solution for that is the syringe)
What you should do is get bloodwork done so you know where you sit HPTA-wise and have a benchmark for the rest of your life (check the stickies to see what to test for).
I would suggest that you train natty for at least another two years while getting acquainted with a few other programs (like 5-3-1, CT’s layering system and something that includes dynamic work). Btw. CT just mentioned in his crossfit article that he looked and felt better than ever with a combination of crossfit and strength training so maybe that can give you some ideas as well.
Also see what you need to do to cut properly. A little less bodyfat should also help the current efficiency of your hormonal output.
There’s a lot you can do now to get ready and reap the benefits of your first cycles a few years from now in a more potent, responsive and safer way. You would also be in a better position to keep those gains, especially if you would need to dial back on the training because of other future commitments.
You have actually made very good progress for 1 year of training. Just keep it up, you’ll get where you want to be fast with more experience and dedication.
Do this for another year and then weigh the pros and cons of starting a cycle.
