Criticize My Diet!

I’m 15 years old and i spend a lot of my days outside of the house, because of school, sports, etc. And my diet varies A LOT. So here it is:
Breakfast: Is anything from 2 waffles 2 eggs a glass of milk 3a calcium pills, and Omega 3 fish oil. Others days i’ll have a bowl of cereal (Honey bunches of Oats) 2gs of protein and about 12g (protein) from the milk. So a total of anywhere between 30-40g of protein…because i eat ALOT in the morning.

Snack: Apple / Pure Protein bar / Strawberries / Any fruit or protein bar pretty much.

Lunch: Can vary between: Large Turkey sandwhich (On french roll with lettuce tomato provolone cheese, or sometimes jack or w/e) from the deli at Gelson Supermarket. Or maybe a large salami sandwhich with lettuce tomato, cheese, and 2 sides of fruit. or sometimes i’ll eat some lasagna (pretty much everything comes from the deli) i will make myself a 4x4 peanut butter and jelly sandwhich with peanut butter OOZING EVERYWHERE MAN…EVERYWHERE. I LOVE PEANUT BUTTER BABY.

Snack: Powerbar (oatmeal) 9g of protein with some naked juice…eaither strawberry banana or mango

2nd Snack: Giant glass of milk with maybe another protein bar (Pure Protein or ProMax) or maybe an apple with some veggies. Maybe a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich with EXTRA peanutbutter and a glass of milk.

Dinner: Can vary from anything to Salmon with veggies with some challah, to Chicken with veggies and potatoes, yams, steak with potatoes,

Snack (1 1/2 AFTER dinner): 2 quaker oatmeal chewy bars with a tall glass of milk

2nd Snack before bed: Peanut butter and jelly…EXTRA peanut butter. and a tall glass of milk
Remember i am a 15 year old student currently…so this is my diet on a day to day basis. I get about 70-80 grams of protein from milk daily…cause i drink so much of it. And i get primarily all of my sugars from fruits / fruit drinks. No sodas, no candy, no ice cream.

I currently am 6’1 165lbs

Eat more, read more, lift more, post less.

To elaborate some, get rid of the French roll, the salami, and lasagna. Stick to lean sources of protein and increase the amounts you eat. Throw the sandwich on wheat and stack 4-6 oz of turkey on that sum bitch. Everything in moderation, don’t get crazy with the peanut butter. Try to have some scrambled eggs/egg whites in the morning with your waffles and milk. You should read more and lift more. Don’t be afraid of asking questions. How the fuck else are you supposed to learn?

…Thanks for the advice! That was to the first post!

Why ?

People are told (and rightfully so) that they should consume more calories, but where from if they are not allowed to eat stuff that actually contains calories ?

As long as you’re really active, the diet is more or less in order (frequency of meals, fruits/veggies, enough fiber etc etc), no junk food (at east not every day), around ~0.7 - 1g protein per lbs of BW, eat pretty much whatever you like.

I belive in eating more quality calories coming from complex carbs and protein than sat. fat and processed carbs. In my world, school cafeteria lasagna counts as junk food. My two centavos.

While I don’t agree in principle, in this case I do think its true

He’s young, active and full of T so eating super clean - chicken brest, brown rice etc etc… - shouldn’t really a masssive priority at them moment

Some groups of people can get impressive gains on a sub-optimal diet and adolesent males are one such group

Its not school cafeteria junk food…i dont eat cafeteria food PERIOD. i hate that shit…i think its disgusting…i only buy the finest and healthiest foods… so anything that i buy comes from the top of the line deli…or home cooked.

Alright, I apologize for my blatant ignorant comments.

Don’t eat ‘whatever you like’ - unless you’re young (under 28) and a real total beginner. The problem is, good habits have to start early because you won’t always have the metabolism to fight off bad habits.

I think zag summed it up.
