I just imagine you running to the top of a skyscraper and wonder how you get down. Elevator? Rappel? Base jump?

@tlgains Good answer lol. There’s a new goal for me

TPWiaB W22D4: Press & Impromptu Deadlift

Deadlift: Work to 515x1 (PR)
Seated Press: 4x3@175 (PR,) 145x10/5/4 (PR)
Pushdowns: Max+25x9/5/4

Somewhere along the line, I think I got kinda decent at the whole lifting thing.

Forgot to mention it in the first post, but I weighed in at 189.4 after that session. That means that I’ve pretty much stayed the same weight this whole summer - maybe lost four-ish pounds, but that could very easily just be daily fluctuation or my home scale being differently calibrated than my school one.

Still PR’ing often enough that it doesn’t really seem like a huge focus on gaining weight is necessary at the moment, but I wanna see 2xx on the scale in the long run. Going back to school in a few weeks should be helpful toward that end. Still zero desire to cut lol.

Couldn’t grind out the last rep, but not a bad day all things considered.

I feel like your strength gains are directly related to your hair gains. Bit of a Sampson situation going on.

@atlas13 I’m rapidly coming up on two years since my last cut. A bunch of my college friends genuinely couldn’t recognize a photo of me skinny and short haired, so there’s a sign I’ve been doing something right lol

Edit: “cut” in either sense of the word, now that I think about it

TPWiaB W22D7: Bike ~1:00:00

W23D1: Bench

Bench: 3x215, 2x220, 3x1@230 (All PR’s), 195x6/4/2 RP (Match PR)
Pause CGB: 165x5/3/5/5/5/5
NG Chins: 15/10/8/7/6

Solid end for the cycle’s benching. The random 3 is because I hit the j-hook, but re-did the set at the end of the session and got my five. The first RP set didn’t feel great, but being able to match a top set from a couple months ago after three Bench PR’s is nothing to complain about.

Solid day. Got my schedule for the first semester finalized yesterday, and I’ll be taking:

PSC 322: State Governers
PSC 361: Budget & Fiscal Policy
UH 205: Foundations of Community Engagement (generic honors college requirement)
PHL 106: Honors Intro Formal Deductive Logic
PHL 100: Intro Philosophy
PHL 212: Early Modern Philosophy

And working as a tutor again, plus QSA leadership stuff and prelaw student association stuff/LSAT prep

Looking forward to bragging about more freakishly high grades in a few months. School’s the one thing I can afford to be super cocky over lol

Seated Press: 180x3/2/2, 145x10/6/4 RP
FUB: 5x8@135 Short Rest
Pushdowns: Max x16/8/6 RP

Finally hit the end of the road for linear increases on seated pressing, but it got me pretty damn far. Will most likely program them the same way I do presses and squats, starting with a 185 TM.
