Creatine

My question is that i have been working out now for only 4 monthes, i know, not very long, but have been working steady and watching my lifetsyle an ddiet habits, my question is, i have always been predisposed to putting fat on very easily, but i have also been using creatine ever since i started working out, would the creatine keep me at a “puffy phase” so to say and not allow me to become more lean and cut, or does it make no difference, ithas added definate muscle size, should i cycle it? any help would be great
