Hello guys, I got a friend who has hepatitis B and I was wondering how cafe can it be to follow a high protein diet? can creatine be dangerous in this situation? Can creatine raises enzymes levels on the liver?
I would apreciate any feedback!

Your question leaves out so many details it’s as if you are trolling for dumb answers.
For instance, is your friends HBV infection acute or chronic?
The answer to this question obviously makes a huge difference in what should be recommended. If the infection is self-limiting I would recommend your friend wait until the flare up is over before embarking on any changes in his diet and exercise regiment. Of course that advise would change based on the symptoms, if any, he is experiencing.
Long-standing HBV infection on the other hand may be associated with chronic inflammation of the liver, cirrhosis of the liver, and last but not least liver cancer. So the the person effected with the latter has much more to worry about than his creatine intake.
My friend´s disease its chronic, he was born with it. He does a normal life, he just has to be careful with alcohol intake, since that can damage the liver as well.
Im sorry i cant give more information, im not an expert myself and this is all I know.
I know he must take care of his liver and that high levels of protein/creatine can cause liver damage, thats why I open this post, didnt mean to troll at all.
