Crazy Eights!

Tommy,

I think I explained a good deal of it in my previous posts, if you would like to take a look.

As far as the “science” is concerned. I remember back when Bob Hoffman was “da man”. Then Joe Weider proclaimed himself God of Strength training. Dan Lurie was king for a short time (bet you never heard of him huh?). Then Mentzer had his day. And the Nautilus people had their way for a while.

Now you have a few other strength gurus telling you to do low reps and many sets. And the crowd follows, somethimes blindly, sometimes because it works well for them. In a few years it will be something else…(yawn). I have seen the latest “science” from many different people through the years.

I respect good research don’t get me wrong. But, I know what works…for me. I been doing this a long, long time. When I change something it’s based upon how it effects me. I like to try different things-That’s part of the fun of it. Doing what works for you is the best way to go.

You either have the desire to try new things or you don’t. Either way, as I have already stated-It’s fun just talking about!

Zeb is going to argue the merits of his program till he’s blue in the face no matter what anyone says. You’re program is absolutely brilliant, there’s not way in hell I’m going to do it, but it’s absolutely brilliant.

“You might want to ask the question over at elite as i have no clue.”

Thanks. I always forget about Elite. Doh.

“I can name a few people who dont care for 10x10. All i got was weak, tired, and small from it.”

All I got was bored.

randman,

I am sorry, I cannot agree with you! My program is not brilliant. (Hey, I do like to debate don’t I?).
