Cramping with BCAA's

My girlfriend works out in the morning usually lifting and then sometimes some HIIT afterwards.

I have her taking 1 scoop of Xtend in 24oz of water which she gets through about 3/4’s during her workout and then will run and finish the rest afterwards.

She said her stomach has been cramping on the run and I am trying to figure this out. Anyone have any thoughts? There’s not much in Xtend that would cause such a thing.

People get cramps when they run. Have she tried NOT taking the BCAAs to see if it’s actually the cause? Was it replicated?

First, thanks for the reply!

Second, she used to lift and then run and not have to many problems except maybe a little bit of dehydration. Since I got her on Xtend, I haven’t have her go off and then back on again. That’ll be on the list of things to try next week, but wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this or knows more than I do about it.

try taking it preworkout in one go with just 5-10oz of water
