Majority of third strikers are again drug possession, non-payment of child support, and shop lifting…in a predominately poor segment of America…so you’re basically putting all odds against them that they’ll go to jail…involuntary and while trying to survive.

Um yes you can moron. They are prisoners, they dont have any rights. The prisons have every right to restrict the prisoners. You cant restrict outside free people but they cant talk to someone if someone doesnt answer the phone, they cant visit anyone if not allowed on the property.

Just 1 or 2 at a time and guarded until put back in the cell. Rinse and repeat all day until everyone had their 30 min or their shower.

Great idea Judge Dredd, but why stop there? If we put them on a remote island with no means of escape, we won’t need guards at all, especially if we fit them with some of those exploding neck-cuffs.

Or we can inject time-sensitive explosive nano probes into their bloodstreams… A giant robotic guard dog would be good. And when space travel is suffiently advanced, we can put them on a space prison and float them into oblivion.

Arizona State Prison Complex - Winslow, Phoenix, and Kingman
Federal Penitentiary - Phoenix (both medium security male and minimum security female)
I even went to Leavenworth ( United States Penitentiary, Leavenworth - Wikipedia ) when I was in Kansas for the summer.

I got my numbers the four times I went to Leavenworth, it’s a max security, the biggest and most efficient max security prison in the world. It takes fifteen minutes to get one prisoner (that is a model max security prisoner) to the yard for his hour, it takes another fifteen minutes to get him back, plus they have to search him. As well, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to comb a room thoroughly (which they use while the prisoner is in the yard) for contraband.
