  1. I’m on the Anabolic diet and am losing weight slowly. The problem is I am going cruising on March 16th. How can I come off the Anabolic diet and get ready for a supreme carb slam? I will workout to try to maximize the results in that 7 day period but I am concerned about coming back to the carbs. Can someone give me a 4 week plan to get ready for a carb slam?

  2. How can I get my health insurance to pay for blood work to see if I am messed up. My sleep has never been worse and I am just run down with little motivation. I think it could be from a long run of HRX. Adrenal overload?

  3. How long does it take for your body to adapt to a weight? I would like to lose weight and then bulk but I am worried the fat will come back. Thoughts? Thanks T-Nation!

  1. Well, you could try not to go on a crazy carb slam, for one. One of the great things about Atkins, the AD, and eve South Beach is that it’s pretty easy to find great food that’s still on the “ok” list.

And if you can’t resist the temptation… ah, go for it. Just go back on the induction after your cruise.

  1. Beats me. Ask your doctor? Also, try some ZMA; that’s supposed to help restlessness, and you might be having mineral issues due to your diet change.

It isn’t great for your weight loss, but I’ve also found drinking induces sleep after a couple of six packs. I’m kidding.

  1. I generally hold a weight for a month or so before I try to make a big change in the other direction. Over the last little while, I dropped to 220, waited a month, bulked up to 235, waited another month, dropped to 210, waited a month, etc.

Very good Tom, I appreciate the feedback! I’m open for more on 1 and 2 but 3 seems like a plan unless somebody refutes Tom’s answer with something scientific… I’ve never really implemented a cutting and bulking cycle so this is new to me! I love this site!
