Geez Stu, YOU BLEW EM AWAY! Congrats man! So are more contests in the future?
Congrats Stu!! You look awesome.

At Outback Steakhouse, emaciated, dehydrated, and starving. Eating Mom’s homemade cookies while I await my personal blooming onion and New York Strip Steak. I brought my ‘Overall’ Trophy in from the car, the three ‘smaller’ trophies can wait outside, but this one’s coming with me!

I’ve heard of a blooming onion once before, my brother said it was the highest calorie food or something like that
You looked great Stu.
Whats your plans now?
Do you plan on competing again in the near future? You made reference to keeping your weight controlled in the offseason, which of course would make your dieting down easier.
Justin Harris always says, how a bodybuilder never becomes “better” until he competes. Claiming, you learn what you need to work on, the competition (other guys) motivates you to keep trucking along and the post contest rebounds all contributes to making you “better”. What do you feel about that thought?
Also, would you have changed anything with your carb/sodium manipulations that last week?
My Contest Experience Pt III:
We were told that the way the USBF shows ran, each competitor, regardless of their class, would do their individual posing routine based solely on their numbers which had been drawn upon sign in earlier in the morning. As number 46 out of over 50 competitors, I knew I had a decent wait time. When I finally found myself waiting just behind the curtains to the stage, I handed the DJ my CD and instructed him to give me a few moments to start from a crouching position so I could wait a second or two into the music before I actually began hitting poses. He okayed me and took the CD. As soon as I heard my number mentioned at the beginning of my introduction (?up next, #46, Stu ??) nothing else was audible. It seemed as if I had the largest (more likely the most obnoxiously loud ?lol) cheering section. I walked to center stage, right in a very well lit spot (we had been positioned towards the rear of the stage for the prejudging, and the lighting was not especially great). As soon as I hit my crouch, the music started (so much for giving me a couple of seconds). I sprang into my first few poses just a hair quicker than I had practiced, but everything just seemed to flow. The audience was totally with me, and I could see the judges? faces as I hit shot after shot. Even though my cheering section was making a hell of a racket, I still had in my head that I was largely ignored through most of the morning, especially the Novice division. Still, I was determined to give my friends and family a show, even if I came in last place. When I walked off stage, I felt like I was glowing. I pumped my fist, and am certain I had a nice little grinning/snarl as my expression through the entire routine. I felt great, screw the judges.
I went backstage to the waiting area for about 15 minutes while the rest of the competitors did their routines, then thy started calling back the each class in its entirety first, to come out on stage, then, for only the top 5 to return to the stage for the actual final placings. When they got to the heavyweight Novice (remember, there was no middleweight, so I was put with the heavier guys), I walked out onstage, again, thanks to my chosen number (46), I was last, and all the way to the left of the stage. We hit a few poses on the judges requests, and then were all marched offstage. The contest promoter, who was standing by the curtain, informed us not to go anywhere, and listen for our numbers to see if we should go back out on stage. I wasn?t sure if I should leave or not, but walked over to the door to get ready to leave. They began calling numbers, one, then two, three, four?. I almost didn?t hear that my name was the fifth, and last one called out. ?Hey, I guess I took fifth!? I thought, and pranced out onstage, again, in the last spot, all the way to the left of the stage. As the judges actually started reading the results, I realized that the couple of girls on stage were rearranging the competitors after each name was called. ?Cool, I must have taken fourth? ?.. ?Third?!, Man, I can live with that!??. ?Oh, No way, It?s me and this other guy?! He looks great, I?m gonna take 2nd, I?m a beast???. I heard my buddies from the gym screaming my name, I heard friends, as well as voices I didn?t recognize screaming my number?.. but then from the judges? microphone, I heard them announce a different number,?. The other competitor?s number. Wait a sec,Did I just win my division?!

Congrats Stu! Sounds like the meal of a champ to me!
A question for you and all the tanners out there:
I’m hispanic, so it’s unlikely for me to burn and more probable to be tanned more easily. Which tanning protocol would you suggest for someone like me to get something like a Hollywood tan? sorry guys.
