I’m doing standing cable crunches but i’mnot sure of my form. When I do them I rest mu butt, or lower back against the poll (whatever is there to support myself) and crunch. It’s much harder by just curling my body down while standing without support. Which way is the proper form?
I usually do these kneeling, but that’s just a personal preference. You should be focusing on curling your upper body rather than bending at the hips. Also, don’t rest your butt or lower back against the pole or wall or whatever. This will most likely cause you to bend at the hips instead of curling your torso because your ass will be working as a pivot point.
