Corn Beef Hash

this is a spinoff of the burger thread in OT

I love this shit, at 800 calories per container, packing 42 grams of protein It makes a kick ass breakfast. I eat it for breakfast on every ME day.

discuss.

CBH is definetely a growing food. It’s slight more anabolic than Anadrol.

qft It’s amazing.

I alternate this shit with 80/20 ground beef for breakfast when I’m bulking, it works wonders. And it’s delicious.

Any of you guys care to post a picture or a recipe.

For us in the non english speaking lands ?

Got I was expecting something TOTALLY differnt.

Hash has a completely different meaning this side of the Atlantic.

One of my favorites as well. I think you can buy this stuff in a can now, but here’s a basic recipe.

INGREDIENTS
6 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1 (12 ounce) can corned beef, cut into chunks
1 medium onion, chopped
1 cup beef broth

DIRECTIONS
In a large deep skillet, over medium heat, combine the potatoes, corned beef, onion, and beef broth. Cover and simmer until potatoes are of mashing consistency, and the liquid is almost gone. Mix well, and serve.

Yep, you can buy it in a can. Made by Hormels. They have two cans at my local grocery store, one of which is considered the single serving size, probably a 4 oz can or so. Stuff is terrific, I eat either that or half a ham steak with breakfast every day.

its one of the few tinned stuff i can eat without feeling guilty

what is it over there?

I’m a Spam and eggs man myself, but I think I’ll try this for a while. That recipe sounds tasty.

Isn’t the sodium in hash a tad high? I thought it was around like over a gram per can

then drink some water.

Bought a couple cans of this today. I’m gonna try one for breakfast tomorrow. Looks like 20g each of fat, CHO and Pro in each serving (2 per can).

Without this thread I would have eaten 800 less calories today, so thanks for that.

corn beef hash is the best, but then again most breakfast foods are.

Bacon, sosage, eggs, toast, cottage cheese, bagels, cream cheese etc.

Corm beef hash with hashbrowns and over easy eggs with toast is where its at.

Hanley, Hash has that meaning on this side of the pond too!
