Anyway, forget the high rep (15 rep) deadlifting, knock it down to 5 reps at most. If you’re doing 176, I’d say you should be able to get the Captains of Crush Trainer, (check out Ironmind.com - Magnus Samuelsson is one of only 4 or 5 to close their #4) or an HG100. You might be able to handle a little more, but I prefer starting off slow with grippers

I think it’s admirable for a young man such as yourself to take into consideration the strength of your grip.
I think it’s very likely that you can close the HG100. Have you heard about IronMind? They have grippers that might be more your speed. I suggest you get the Trainer, the #1 and the #2 - and there is a distributor in the UK that handles IronMind products, so shipping to Sweden would not be that big of a deal. Good Luck!
Timme: I think you should be able to handle the HG100. I would recommend that you order a few of the heavier ones too, so you’ll have something to work towards.
Much respect to Sybersnott and anyone else who can close the HG400. Like a total jackass I tried my HG300 as soon as I tore open the box; closed it to within a centimeter. And I felt it the next day. That thing’s a bitch. I can imagine what the 400 feels like.
I’m still trying to close the 200. I’m close, but I want to hear those handles grind before I move up.

Hi everybody my name is Alex, im 26 years old i have benn training with heavy grippers for a couple month and i beilieve i can close 400lb gripper,i do close 350lb 3 times in a row, so i think i have a good chance closing that gripper. Thanks

I can already close the HG 300’s and hold for about 5 seconds with my right, almost there with my left hand. Planned on getting the HG 350’s soon, why not jump straight to the HG 400’s!
