This actually made me laugh.
And I’m a big Dr. Who/Sherlock fan.
I haven’t watched Dr. Who in a while. It used to be shown on PBS when I was a kid. Once they had BBC America I watched it off and on. I completely stopped watching by the time they had the first female Doctor. But when I heard they were going to have an openly gay Doctor, maybe he’s already on the show, I asked myself, “you mean, Doctor Who wasn’t always gay?”
Well, he did mention he had a wife and kids who died on Gallifrey.
But he would never cross the alien/human line with romance. But they did this season, and it felt so forced. They even did a fucking musical episode this season.
I want the doctor to be the oncoming storm, the predator, the great destroyer. Unfortunately this new incarnation isn’t that.
And fun fact, we do know the doctors real name. It’s a math formula. ∂³Σx²

I turned it off. I hate musicals.

Somebody already accomplished this.
But musicals feel kind of . . fluffy.
Maybe because I went to see Into the Woods, which seemed to be a Robin Hood kind of thing, but it was just James Corban jiggling around and singing. No Dialogue.
I’ll admit The Music Man is pretty good though.
