I’m not American so this doesn’t affect me, but a law restricting criticism of a foreign government doesn’t seem to be in keeping with US ideals.
You can get away with that on campuses but you won’t get away with it if the group being attacked is black, Muslim, Indigenous, Hispanic, etc. So I ask, why the double standard? This wouldn’t be an issue if colleges enforced their speech codes uniformly.
I know you think you’re clever as well as a strange scary man. If a college student walked around saying death to Palestine, he would face consequences because you can’t say that about Muslim peoples or nations. So nice try scary man.
I don’t think you know what that means. Stick to stoning women, raping goats and sending your own children on suicide missions. Those are your strong suits.
I said two different things about two different things. A college student may face consequences for walking around saying death to Palestine, they may not.
Since the first part of your statement is already shaky it doesn’t serve as a firm foundation for revealing an alleged unwritten rule.
Similarly a college student may face consequences for walking around saying death to Israel, they may not. Do you think that would that be a firm foundation for revealing an alleged unwritten rule?
You just did that again because had you gone to college here you would have just said so.
Blah, blah, blah. You are unaware of campus speech codes and how hate speech is defined. If you weren’t a disingenuous moron you would have asked what they are from someone who knows. It’s ok to recognize your ignorance on something and just stfu.
Right back at you. Please do remember your typing this to me.
I agree with the first sentence.
The second sentence is the result of you reading into things in a very particular way.
It’s kind of funny that you think I should have been quicker to ask in light of how accusatory you are towards me. I cannot trust your judgement so sincerely asking is impossible.
What’s really funny is I wonder if you’ll ever ask me if I’ve ever been to a college, and/or to a college in the US.
I asked a question, which is not the same as making a statement. You took a statement which was not given. Will you give it back, please? I have been quite confused before, so I might very much regret it years later if I were to be leaving you this way
