When switching programs and rep/set/rest parameters, I always notice a few things.
For one, I feel like I’m cheating when my rest periods are longer than 60-90 seconds. Today, the workout called for 2-4 minute rests, but that felt so odd…
Anyone else notice things like this?
Pyramid & Reverse
7(80%), 5 (85), 3 (90), 3 (90), 5, 7
DB Bench - 7x75s, 5x80s, 3x85s, 3x85s, 5x80s, 7x75s
Back Ranges - Close Grip/Wide - 7x125, 5x135, 3x140, 3x140, 5x135, 7x125 (for the closer grip I began with 90 then 100, 105, 105, 100, 90)
Back Squat
Upright Row
Skull Crusher
Arnold Curls
etc…
With the 2 minute+ rests, it felt easy…
Back Ranges - Close Grip/Wide - 7x125, 5x135, 3x140, 3x140, 5x135, 7x125 (for the closer grip I began with 90 then 100, 105, 105, 100, 90)
Excuse me but what exactly are back ranges?

My bad…they are those machine rows, I think? The apparatus that extends out, a bit above parallel to the ground, to which you add plates to the front. You pull it up like a row, with the option of a high grip, medium/lat grip, and a lower grip.
Know what I mean?
What’s the simple name? lol
