Come Love NeelyDan

NeelyDan does the smart thing and creates his log amongst all the lovely tail in the T-Nation environment.

Shall his idea perish and be moderated into the generic pool of uninspired logs where the likes of ddot76 live?

Stay tuned!

Whatever the routine is, it shall contain as many variations of the iron cross as possible.

And so it begins. Welcome, my friends.

Post: light jog beside a cougar who needed more deodorant

Notes - I’m not quite sure where I’m going with my training just yet. I recently trained with a strength coach for 4 months and made solid gains on that level. A work in progress, I suppose.

Also - the bruins swept the habs last night. Life is good.

Lastly - I get married in one month. Holy fucking christ.

Why is your log yellow and all ours are black?

Apparently the moderators are NOT AWARE THAT ANTEATERS ARE GENDER NEUTRAL.

I don’t know why either, but in all the training log section (ie. not PW), whoever started the thread has their posts in yellow, everyone else in black.

I know! Mods - send him back over to us in PW!!!

Then you’re damn lucky you’re getting married in Ontario!

I saw this show up in PW at first and laughed my ass off!

You are a PW NeelyDan!

Welcome to relegation!

The secondary goal of this log shall be to return to my intended home of PW.

I am comfortable amongst women, I train like a woman, I have the vocal pitch of a woman, the triceps of a woman, I like Titanic and when I enter a body of water I only go in waist high.

Maybe you’ll qualify for that forum if you can have them rename it “Powerful Women & Anteaters That Aspire to One Day Be a Powerful Woman Even Though the Woman Aspect Is More Likely Than The Powerful Component”

Seriously though, get your ass in a powerlifting competition. If you like it you will have found a new focus, if you don’t…you wasted a day.

Court, it was in PW when I opened it, but then it got transferred to TL…I suppose it turned yellow right as I responded.

Pooooor NeelyDan.

We love you ND

We want you back with us you ant eating bastard.

Were those db rows done in the rack?

And another thing, stfu about cougars.

Yeah, Neely, she don’t like to be outted.

Smelly cougar was again present for today’s session. Perhaps 11am is her prep for hitting the bar, which of course cannot see her arrive RIGHT AT 11. It’s all about appearances.

Today was conditioning/metabolic/circuit/barf training:

Circuit 1:

Power cleans 8x95
Burpees x12
Swiss ball crunch x15

Repeat 4x

Circuit 2:

Thrusters 10x45
Running step-ups x1min
Cable crunches 12x120

Repeat 4x, curse under breath

Circuit 3:

DB swings 8x80
Bike sprints 4x90sec

Repeat 4x, look arrogantly at cougar while stroking goatee

Hey, can I join in on the fun, too?

That sounds horrible. I’m so glad I’m a powerlifter. It was tough enough doing Ddot’s program.

Also, fwiw, it isn’t called ‘stroking goatee’ when your hands are in your pants.

neelydan has always been particularly fond of your writings, come frolic amongst us

Since this is neelydan’s log, and neelydan is a howling liberal, you are all subject to neelydan propaganda:

It is when he shapes it like the goatee on his face.

On a more serious note, what are ‘running step ups’? That entire things looks horrible and I too am glad I’m a fat lazy powerlifter.

Think ali shuffle or running in place, but involving a platform at about knee height. There’s no point when your two feet are on the ground at the same time.

Plus, you LOOK way cool. Not iron cross cool, but cool.
