As long as it is being used for it’s intended purpose, the digestive tract is self-cleaning. Eat your veggies, drink plenty of water, and consider a pro-biotic.
When you flush out the bad bacteria you are flushing out the good bacteria. There is debate amoung a lot of people to do it or not to do it. I do believe using it as a alternative to constipation when all other avenues have been explored.

Having had a doctor ordered colonoscopy yesterday (and going through the prep and no solid food for 24 hours) makes me wonder how anyone in their right mind would voluntarily ask to have a garden hose shoved up their bum. Sorry for the run on sentence.

hey guys,

one of my friends recently had a colon therapy session and has been raving about the benefits etc.

the problem being is that when I look up google. it has nothing but bad press from all the medical associations etc.

I know this group tends to support most forms of alternative thinking so was wondering if any of my brethren on here have experience in this area, good bad or ugly.

thanks
Brian Dunning from www.skeptoid.com does critical thinking podcasts and he did one on “alternative healing”. Pretty much none of it is backed up by actualy scientific research.

It’s a scam…same with ear candling. There’s not that much wax in your ear like they show coming out with ear candling.

Good one. Also anything that claims to manipulate the energy fields of your body is probably quackery.
