Way to fucking go Wisconsin. They should have had 28 points in the first quarter alone.

I would be more upset about this – and the Packers loss – except that THE BREWERS ARE GOING TO THE PLAYOFFS for the first time in 2 1/2 fucking decades.

I was pretty bothered by this loss yesterday, but today is all about baseball.

Last team I expected lose today was Florida. Here is Tebow’s postgame press conference, he is nearly in tears:

I should of went with my gut on the Alabama vs. Georgia game, but I thought playing at home Georgia would be a big advantage.

The last time the Brewers were in the playoffs, they were in the AL, and Robin Yount was playing shortstop. I actually remember watching him play.

Go rays.

And bucs>packers today!

Holy shit! I picked a great time to stop following baseball.

At least WVU won yesterday (and maybe White being hurt may actually HELP them for a change, they can’t put enough points the board, maybe a better passer in Brown, we’ll see) and my Panthers won today as well,

And in case some of y’all are wondering, their was about 30 for sale signs down here in Bowden’s front lawn this morning, the hot seat is definitely back in full force for Bowden.

That is funny

Nate Dogg- You have to remember last season when Georgia played Florida what happened in the first quarter.

Reminder:

I love the look on Tebow’s face at 26 seconds.
Oh, I remember that very well. And you know what? It didn’t bother me. Why? Because Georgia came to play that day and Florida did not. I knew Florida was going to lose that game when that happened.

Because of what happened last year, the 'Dawgs better look out this year!

Also, that only makes THREE wins in 18-19 games that Georgia has won. That’s not that good!! The Gators have dominated Georgia.
I change my mind, Georgia wins tonight.

You should have stuck with your original pick!

Great analysis of the game, Nate, I really can’t agree more. I’m having a big internal struggle as of late about how I feel about Urban Meyer. It was easy to feel good about him when he won the NC off of Zook’s guys, but as his own team is coming into fruition, I’m really starting to wonder if he has what it takes to make at UF. Yes, most of the teams are going to lose. Yes, it was against Ole Miss who’s played them extremely difficult in the past. Yes, Tebow overthrow a WIDE OPEN Louis Murphy!
I think Urban is a good coach. But I think Dan Mullen’s offensive play calling sucks!!!

And yes, that wide-open Louis Murphy pass should have been a touchdown and the game winner.

In today’s paper, Urban stated that "he and his staff will re-evaluate all phases of the team, including the offensive philosophy and play calling."

 • Really? No way! I could have told you this since Dan Mullen started calling offensive plays a couple years ago!!! It’s too bad it took a loss to Ole Miss to make them re-evaluate these things now.

However, Urban warned the refs that Ole Miss was hurdling players on the kicks and a player did in fact hurdle in the blocked PAT - but the refs didn’t see it or call it (although, I’ve seen them call it in other games this season). That would have also made a difference since the game would have gone into overtime.

It was just one of those games! I figured the Gators would have a loss this season, but I figured it would come from someone else. But maybe this loss to Ole Miss will be the thing they need to rebound and win out the rest of the season. I know Tebow is upset and is going to work even harder. The whole team will use this as motivation for sure.

And hey, it’s not that bad since it’s early in the season. They can overcome this. And with all the other teams that went down this weekend, I’m not too worried.

Yeah, I’m an alum.

I originally attended the community college right of high school on full scholarship and then transferred to UF and was there from 96-99. So I was there during the National Championship year and went to all the games during 96, 97 and 98. Now that I’m an alum, I haven’t signed up as a Booster to get tickets, but I usually get tix to a few games each year from some of my connections.

I may sign up as a Booster and try to get my own season tix. We’ll see if I can afford it. I think the minimum “contribution” is $1,200 per year (plus the cost of season tix) to get in on it.

If you came for graduate school, you’d have access to the pool of student tickets for the games. And you can’t beat the price ($10 per ticket)!

As for the pic of me and Tebow, that was prior to the beginning of the season during the Gators Charity Challenge, a strongman event they opened to the public this year and used as a fundraiser for various local charities.

Lucky dog. Tebow is a class act and, as such, is definitely one of my favorite players. We need more kids like him in our society.

Definitely.

He’s the real deal. I wrote about him in my blog:

Cool blog; got it bookmarked.

Regarding football, it is amazing that a week ago I had USC and Florida pegged for the NC! Now it looks like OU and Alabama! Watch it end up with BYU and South Florida!

Don’t overlook Utah!!

Don’t count USC/Florida out for the NC game yet! There’s a crazy chance it could still happen.

Remember, if Alabama makes it to the SEC Championship for the West division, they still have to play the East division (Florida still runs the table here), so a lot could happen in the next few months!

BYU and South Florida will get crushed along the way, and I’m expecting plenty more shake-ups in the next few weeks that will completely change the top five and top 10 by the time we near December!

If anyone learned anything from last season, its that it aint over til its over.

I am going to the Utah vs. Oregon State game tonight. I am nervous about this game because Utah usually starts slow; and if Oregon State runs the ball well, it will be hard to catch up.

i just started gettin into NCAA football, i like it way better than NFL cause the games are way more fast paced and crazy stuff is always happening. they just use more daring plays like some flea flicker last night i saw Boise use. Louisianna Tech has an awesome running back too, Daniel Porter the guy is insane hell break 5 tackles and then run another 5 yards with someone on his back.

I hear you!

If Oregon State comes to play like they did against USC, Utah better watch out. This game could go either way tonight.

Way to go Utah, represented the MWC well. Great comeback, exciting finish!
