Polini is going to be in for a wake up call this year. Husker fans won’t give him a year to fix things. I see Nebraska winning 6.
I agree with Spike:
AT LEAST YESTERDAY was another argument to AT LEAST modify this BCS stuff with some form of playoff system.
That damn BCS computer must be going NUTS about now!
I see it coming already.
There are going to be at least 2-3 teams in the SEC ALONE to get screwed because they will be left out of the title game.
Mufasa
Who’s everyones most hated coach? Mine is Phillip Fullmer. I hate that fat piece of shit.
Anyone think JoePa is just going to croak one of these games on the sideline or during halftime? I can see it now.

HOW COULD WE FORGET?
DAMN, the Utes looked good!
(And I’m sure they were celebrating in Charleston, West Virginia!)
All the Utes needed to have was a healthy backfield (which they DIDN’T have last year); and that spread was going to be hard to stop.
Cap it off with the best kicker in the Nation, and Rodriguez and his Boys were doomed.
The Utes only “roadblock”, as always, should be BYU. (The game that these two play can NEVER be predicted; its almost a season in itself).
I think that with the resources at their disposal, Rodriguez and Michigan will be fine; but not this year.
Mufasa
That kicker for the Utes is amazing, nailed pretty much every kick right down the middle, and I am now convinced my team will never get over the hump as long as Bowden and his coaches are here. It doesn’t piss me off that we just lost, but to lose and show NO heart on the field, no excuse for that, especially the first game of the year. I can honestly say though that the SEC looks damn good, gonna be a hell of a year them all those teams. But Michigan getting beat was beautiful! Anyone notice that WVU THREW 5 TD passes? yes I know it was against Villanova but WVU throwing that many TD’s is definitely different. And BTW Clemosn is my team, but I keep up WVU being that the majority of my family is from West Virginia(including both my parents) so I do root for em

Rocker:
Can I just say that one of my favorite Clemson exports is “Next Door Nikki”? (She has the “Paws” to prove it!)
(It’s probably safe to assume that she won’t have a Dorm or Classroom Building named after her anytime soon?)
Oh well!
BACK TO FOOTBALL!
(LOL!)

Okay - I may be a fan, but you can NOT tell me that if Florida establishes a balance on their offense (250 yards rushing opposed to 150 passing? Yessir!) they will be almost unstoppable. This is, however, dependant on if their defense learned how to cover receivers this year.
SSC:
…AND STAY HEALTHY…!
Florida is losing people as fast as Georgia, and in key positions. Mayer has a bit more depth than Georgia, but staying healthy (as it is for all teams) is going to be important.
The Spread is just damn hard to defense if you’ve got speed and agility in the backfield, at WR and at quarterback.
Florida= Check on all!
They should do well.
Mufasa
tebow is overrated yes he did do a very good job last year but if you truthfully watched the games an average quaterback would be really good on that team so a good quater back was great. he is not great and this year they need him to be great to get to the national championship
ohio state and lsu again and ohio takes it this time with wells or with out hopefully with. allthough I believe georga is the best team but way to tough of a schedule
I don’t know, hazard…
You’ve got a quarterback the size and speed of a tight end, with a rocket arm…in a spread offense!
Within that context, Tebow is damn scary, especially for linebackers trying to cover and read this guy, while at the same time worrying about the Florida running backs.
He’s not invincible; but he’s an awesome weapon in Myers offense.

I think Utah is one of the best teams not in the BCS and they really proved it in the first half against Michigan. I think that they need to become more disciplined and show more consistency on offense or teams like TCU and BYU will give them fits. I am actually scared for the game on Saturday against UNLV because Utah was destroyed by them last year after coming off of their big victory over UCLA. I hope all focus is on UNLV.

Was a good day for me. TCU wins a conference hame on the road, beats the spread, and doesn’t allow a TD.
Bama looked incredible last night.
Utah represented the conference well.
Arkansas State beats the Aggies.
It’s time to break up this cartel known as the BCS. [/quote]
TCU had a great game.

Yeah, but the SEC is just so damn deep this year, it would be tough for any team to run the table.

Ah you bastard! Have your fun man, I’m sure y’all have seen terry bowden’s daughter pic floatin around the internet as well, yea I see the ESPN headline talkin bout fans of teams that lost this past weekend to not thinkt o bad about their teams and that they could be Clemson fans. Man that hurts

Thanks,
Half the posters on killerfrogs.com are near suicidal because we didn’t open up the offensive playbook and score 50. The OC has never been especially popular. A conference win, on the road, against a bowl team, without the #1 tailback, and no major injuries, I’m happy.
I wish I could have seen the Utah game. Michigan is overrated but a win in the bighouse is always impressive. I hate having both Utah and BYU on Thursday nights.

I agree. I am a Florida fan, yes, but a bigger football fan. To call this guy overrated is crazy. He can throw, quite well, and he’ll [unfortunately] lower his head and plow through a bunch of defenders. The only player to ever have over 50 touchdowns in a season? I can’t see how that’s overrated.
And in response to Mufasa, Tebow IS a linebacker haha! I remember hearing that he could bench 400 before he even got to college… that’s just unreal.

I also hate Thursday night games. At least both of ours are at home.

Im not a BIG College Football fan(mostly b/c of the BCS) but have been getting into it more and more each year and living in Greenville you cant help but get sucked up by it.(its the only place in NC where Basketball takes the back seet, hell it might even ride in the trunk) I thought that they would burn Charlotte down on their way out of town.
But my Dad is and has been a big BSU fan and loves College Football, I asked him if he thought ECU could beat West Virginia and we kinda danced around it. But once the Virginia Tech. game was over he said “You asked me if they could beat WV? Definitely.” You take way the 2 TDs ECU gave Tech, the game wouldnt have been close.
Can ECU get to that #12 spot and make it to a BCS game? and how many more years will Holts stay at ECU? I give him 2 at the most b4 some big “BCS” school swoops him up.

Maybe he’ll meet and marry a local hottie. It seems to be keeping Patterson in Fort Worth.

No suck luck. He is already married w/ a son. I met him once at the gym as a matter of fact, met Dave Mira to but he is a little skinny fucker…not that that has anything to do with anything
