But LSU still has to play Arkansas so they could get a loss there as well. That would be chaos if Oregon beats Stanford, Oklahoma beats OK State and then Arkansas beats LSU?

To think about it… That would be awesome! Boise and Houston would be left as the lone unbeatens? Sweeeeeeeet!

I bet Arkansas’ staff is watching gametape from Saturday night and left scratching their heads. What are they going to do with LSU’s defense?

So the BCS standings are out and Alabama only slipped to third. Now I’m a Bama Alum but I think they should have at least fallen behind Stanford.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think Standford is all that great of a football team. They have a outstanding QB but no speed on the outside and they’re best receivers are their TE’s. Add to that a defense thats got some big holes and it doens’t equal NC to me, but until they lose they should be ranked above a one loss Bama.

Another thing thats bothering me is that suddenly LSU and Bama’s offfenses are terrible because of how they played against the top 2 defenses in the country. LSu hung 40 on Oregon and 47 on West Virginia so I’m pretty sure they aren’t terrible. Why does any one think its odd that two fairly above average offenses got shut down by the two best defenses?
Bama should be 2nd. No team scored a touchdown and the game was won by a field goal in overtime? That’s as close as you can get.

 You can count on it a like kid who got slapped by his dad’s dick and walked out on him for a whore.

I was wearing the remote bouncing between games though…Why do the best match ups have to happen all at the same time?
Good times, even though we lost…

Yea I know but it is what it is.

Really though do you think a Pac 10 team is going to be in it?
I’m just very festive.

I think Stanford has a better chance that Ok. St. to be in the NC game. Kansas State is terrible and they scored pretty much at will on Ok. St.

Not to mention I think OU beats on Ok. St in teh bedlam game.

I think Stanford has a good chance to beat Oregon even though I think Oregon is the better team.

Some Fun Facts:

LSU has played two GOOD/VERY GOOD offensive teams this year and gave up 27 & 21 points respectively. (Oregon & West Virginia)

Bama has played one GOOD/VERY GOOD offensive team this year and game up 14 points. (Arkansas)

When they played eachother, 6-9 in overtime.

The only teams to score less than LSU did in regulation against Bama were University of North Texas and Vandy. (Not good offensive teams)

The only team to score less than Bama did against LSU was Northwestern State. (Not a good offensive team)

Conclusion:
LSU and Bama are not very good offensive teams.
I didn’t say they had great offenses, I said they had above average offenses, which is true. Theres a huge gap between just above average and great. Perhaps slighty above average would be more accurate.

I feel pretty confident that both teams will put 28 on whatever team they get in a bowl and I’m pretty sure they won’t give up 28.

Ol’ Huston Nutt is out at Ole Miss, early reports are saying.

Salient points made by Rebel and Hog fans about the guy being a QB killer and a suspect play caller. But I gotta tell you all.

I love hearing him talk football. I hope he hangs it up for good and announces games (once Urban Meyer takes the Ohio State job, etc…)

Here’s a fun one, in rememberence of ol HDN

Ole Miss QB - Coach, we are on our own 1 yard line, their defense has done a good job of getting in our backfield, what do we do?

H. Nutt - hmm…sweep to the right.

Ole Mis QB - […]

Play is run, Arkansas hits em 4 yards deep in the endzone for a safety

H. Nutt - …damn.

sorry, overstand, didn’t see your post before I put up mine.

This is a mess. I didn’t think I could be shocked by scandal in college football anymore, but this is fucking insane.
The Grand Jury testimony is up on deadspin.com. I read part of it this morning, it’s pretty damning (and hard to read, dude is a total sicko). The guy is 100% guilty. I think the only question now is how many Penn State people are going to get the axe.

The two guys who are on administrative leave are gone for sure, they absolutely tried to cover it up.

As for Paterno, Sandusky had already been accused of sexually abusing a kid in 1998 before the assistant reported the other abuse to Joe Pa in 2002. Joe Pa did report it to the AD, but come on. A guy with a history of this shit, and children might be being sexually abused in your own lock room and you don’t call the cops?

I agree Ok St normally gets beat by big brother. Stanford has a better chance to win out.

Yeah this one right here is really ugly. Creepy.

I hate that Joe Pa is going to go down for this, but I think the only thing that he can do is step down from head coaching.

Nothing is sacred anymore. Nothing is secret anymore. This is the absolute worst thing I can think of happening to a football program, not to mention the young kids that were assaulted by this guy.

It’s upsetting and sad.

This was my view Saturday, first time to a game this year ( I’m a long time season ticker holder, but due to MIL haven’t gone in a while)…not my seats, mine are better, but this was fun…

PENN STATE…read the entire indictment, not only is Sandusky one sick and twisted man, the school basically looked the other way!..They had a janitor catch him sucking off an 11-12 year old and they told the janitor not to say anything as they might lose their jobs…janitor is now in a nursing home, but was pressured not to talk…G Assistant caught Sandusky cornholing a kid in the shower, told Joe Pa, Joe Pa told the AD, AD and other officials, and they investigated and said it was “just horsing around”…you read the whole indictment and you get a creepy picture of a guy that was enabled greatly by PSU…

I can’t see how anyone associated with this in any way doesn’t end up in Jail or out of work…There are some kids that truly were harmed and it is a shame that no one took up their cause until now…

Sucks that JoePa’s career is now tarnished by this shit, but he really didn’t do enough to stop it.

Also, can anybody belive this is for real:

No kidding, his autobiography is called “Touched”.

x2

except I would like to see Ok State win out.

And then ESPN lets this shit onto the internet. What a fucking douchey, dispicable thing to do. This isn’t about players getting tattoos and free lap dances, it’s much more serious than any of that.

You’ve gotta be kidding me.

This right here is why I stay with CBS sports for web based sports news. Ridiculous

Didn’t Jo Pa just get the most wins by a coach record? He should annouce he is retiring at the end of season.

Why is this so upsetting? Poor taste perhaps but I am sure some are wondering.

Ready for a bombshell?
