Me! New Orleans, Shreveport, or the couch.

Do y’all think Okie St put up enough of a blowout to get a #2 ranking?

It does not look like much happened in the second half.[/quote]

With the coaches poll out it’s unlikely but still possible. OSU must do better in the harris poll though. As it stands now if they were to get the same proportion of votes in the harris poll, they could get a solid 2 and Bama a solid 3 in the computers and Bama would still get the nod. Since the highest and lowest computer number is thrown out, osu would only have to jump them in three polls for that to happen.

The one thing I think OSU has going for them is the Harris poll is much less predictable than the AP or coaches. I would actually not be surprised to see OSU end up #2 in that poll only because voters don’t want to see the rematch and not necessarily because they think OSU is the second best team.

As for me, I was most interested in the Houston game. That upset gives Kansas State a very good chance to get into a BCS game.

Looking at the predicted bowl line-ups I would like to see Ok St jump to number 2 so we could see Stanford up against Alabama. The idea of conferences playing each other in the bowls is just more interesting.

OKState is only 5th in the Harris Poll, 0% chance they overtake Bama in the BCS standings. Rematch is 100% set in stone.

VaTech lost so they’ll pick up a bunch there.

If they can get a solid 2 in the computers and bama solid 3, OSU will only have to be within .0183 percent of the vote on the Harris poll to get to 2 in the BCS. I’m not going to bet on it but it is going to be much closer than you think.

I’d like that very much.

Me too, but I will admit Okies verse Stanford should be good as well.

If I had to pick an opponent other than LSU who had a decent chance of beating Alabama it would be Ok. St. No way thats going to happen though.

I have a feeling Bama would kill Stanford. Stanford is just to slow on the outside.

When is the Bowl selection show ? Channel ?

ESPN 7:15 Central Time

Good shit Spike !

I still don’t understand where people are getting that Bama has proven more than OK St, but that’s all I’m hearing from the talking heads.

K-State and Boise State all got screwed hard. At least Arkansas knew it was coming so they busted out the lube before hand.

Michigan vs. V-Tech? Just wow.

Damn 2 team rule.

National Championship was expected. I like the match up of Ok State vs. Stanford.

From an interest standpoint, I certainly agree. You hear so much about the strength differences in conferences, that is the compelling argument to me to have the conference chanpions play each other.

I am assuming Arkansas is.going to the Cotton Bowl
Which team surprised you? Michigan or V-Tech? UM has been floated for the Sugar Bowl for the past week.

VT specifically, although I had heard the talk about Michigan, I was hoping it was just that, talk. At least VT was runner up in their conference, Michigan can’t even say that.

It’s a weird bowl schedule this year because New Years Day is on a Sunday. That means NFL games are that day and the big bowls start on the 2nd. I know for a fact some people don’t get Monday off.
