Yea I see Frogs keep it close :)
Yeah they woke up in the 2nd quarter. Pretty lethargic start. They seemed to perk up when they announced the UH score.
Georgia needs to keep the game interesting because there is nothing else on until 8…

This reminds me of why I dislike OSUck so much.
I grew up in the heart of a great rivalry, UT & A&M. 100+ yrs of trying to represent Texas with each school representing major threads that constructed the identity of the state. Yet, despite or because of this the best words I ever read written about A&M was from UT students and administers following the bonfire collapse that killed 12 students. I think this is because the two schools exist as brothers in the family of Texas that both respect, love, compete against and infuriate each other. (Now it is kinda like one of the brothers, A&M moved on to a new job).
The first day on campus at OSU I saw shirts on the street with your comment above. Out there on eye level for everyone including the young kids to see just feet from the campus boarder thus representing the school and its culture. To be honesty I was rather appalled. And in ky time there I saw how.deeply the university defined itself by this hatred.
I have been on campus of UM many times and have not seen the same shirts among the streets.around campus often filled by families. I am not going to say that they do not relish the rivalry but that the school defines itself through its excellent academic record, as being one of the top university in the world - not through a vulgar slogan aimed at a rival.
Cliff.notes: I do not like Ohio.
You’re entitled to your opinion but it sounds like you take what is actually some good fun a bit too seriously. No need to go into a diatribe about it to establish some intellectual superiority and moral high ground. It’s a college football thread, I made a college football joke.
Georgia playing really competitive for that first half, expecting an Arkansas like 2nd half explosion from LSU.
Perhaps I am, really hated my time in Ohio. The vulgarity around kids and with kids I just found disgusting. I saw it first with those shirts and plenty of other times as well. Your comment just reminded me of it.
I went to one game at Syracuse and I walked out because, though touted as a family event, the organized cheers by the student body where both classless (cheering and taunting when a player got hurt) and so riddled with vulgarity I got sick of it.
I grew up going to games at UT with my dad and friends. Even set in the visitors section when Arkansas came to town. Just not close what to what I experienced at Ohio and Syracuse.
Cliff Notes: Old man bitching about how it is no longer the way it was in the olden days
Sorry DJ about the horns. Kinds cool that Baylor has really improved their program.
LSU DOMINANT.
I have no idea how WVU put up almost 500 yards passing on that secondary of LSU. Mattheui and Claiborne are so fucking good(and Mattheui is only a sophomore, have fun with that next year SEC QB’s). Every other pass first team has looked terrible against them for anything more than a couple drives, and running isn’t exactly working out either.
That said, I’d still like to see OKState get their shot, because Blackmon is a beast among beasts, and Wheedon knows how to get him the ball.

even reading previous posts!!! you get 17 million to your conference by getting to BCS bowl
in the other news, Aaron Murray is the best QB in the SEC… even with BAMA avatar i’ll have to say that
Correct, both schools get 17 Million, the winner gets another 4 million.
The Oklahoma game is getting ugly.
Anybody think PMPM is already drunk?
Well at least the MSU vs. Wisconsin game is close.

I think she is passed out by now.
What a bullshit way to end the MSU vs. Wisc game. The punter flopped even though the guy barely touched his leg. I don’t really care who won the game, I just think that’s a BS call and a crappy end to that game.
Do y’all think Okie St put up enough of a blowout to get a #2 ranking?
It does not look like much happened in the second half.

Nope. It would be fun to see them in the title game, but it’s just not going to happen.
I am happy to watch an LSU/Alabama rematch as I truly believe that they are the two best teams in the country right now.

They are told to do this, they are baiting for a “roughing the kicker” call.

Exactly, he essentially won the game for them. Get mad at the rule, not the player.
I wonder how many of his teammates/coaches will give him little academy awards trophies.

In the Houston game their kicker had his foot hit and it took him down, which I do not think he faked, but no call. Did not see the foul y’all are discussing but most of the light hits I have seen this year have not been called.
Edited for clarity
This week, the Tide received 38 second-place votes and 1,418 points and the Cowboys got 22 second-place votes and 1,400 points.
Wow, 18 points separating them in the AP Poll. The BCS standings might be closer than I thought…
I have seen the argument that Ok St. has the harder schedule given they defeated 5 ranked opponents while Alabama defeated 2. Not trying to get into a “who has a tougher conference” debate, just something the computers will use in their computations.
