Your “Dixie please” comment still has me laughing. I think I going to use that for any southern related discussions.

So who going to win, Baylor or Texas?

Hard to call, UT D has played well, if they shut down RGIII have a chance. If it becomes shootout then Baylor.

Houston game totally turned on that one fumble that went out of bounds. SMU hits the bomb right after, and Houston just played with their heads down the rest of the way, I don’t want to use the word quit but they were definitely out of it, and Keenum has been sub-par the whole night.

^SMU is in Dallas. Do you mean So. Miss?

I can hear Hattiesburg from my apartment in Jackson. Its spectacular.

This reminds me of why I dislike OSUck so much.

I grew up in the heart of a great rivalry, UT & A&M. 100+ yrs of trying to represent Texas with each school representing major threads that constructed the identity of the state. Yet, despite or because of this the best words I ever read written about A&M was from UT students and administers following the bonfire collapse that killed 12 students. I think this is because the two schools exist as brothers in the family of Texas that both respect, love, compete against and infuriate each other. (Now it is kinda like one of the brothers, A&M moved on to a new job).

The first day on campus at OSU I saw shirts on the street with your comment above. Out there on eye level for everyone including the young kids to see just feet from the campus boarder thus representing the school and its culture. To be honesty I was rather appalled. And in ky time there I saw how.deeply the university defined itself by this hatred.

I have been on campus of UM many times and have not seen the same shirts among the streets.around campus often filled by families. I am not going to say that they do not relish the rivalry but that the school defines itself through its excellent academic record, as being one of the top university in the world - not through a vulgar slogan aimed at a rival.

Fuck Ohio state.

Thanks, brother

even reading previous posts!!! you get 17 million to your conference by getting to BCS bowl

in the other news, Aaron Murray is the best QB in the SEC… even with BAMA avatar i’ll have to say that

They said more like 11 for CUSA

but why they get money for just getting to a BCS game?

Really you didn’t know this?

That was my point about the BCS game and having a different conference play LSU.

Show me the money

This does not compute.
Heavy is rational and not a rabid loser fan.
From some of the Bama/Auburn fans I know, rabid=rational
hahaha so true!
So very true. I am a senior at Alabama and do not really have hard feelings against Auburn. I hate florida because their fans do the gator chomp even when other team has an injury. LSU fans can be a bit to handle as well. But Ive never had a bad encounter with Tennessee or Auburn really.

I do dislike Cam Newton for being so awesome though -_-

nope i had no idea that every team benefits if one team from the conference is good

UH loses. Frogs win in yucky weather. Baylor beating TX. UGA up on LSU at half, just fumbled.

You’re entitled to your opinion but it sounds like you take what is actually some good fun a bit too seriously. No need to go into a diatribe about it to establish some intellectual superiority and moral high ground. It’s a college football thread, I made a college football joke.

Georgia playing really competitive for that first half, expecting an Arkansas like 2nd half explosion from LSU.

^ And you would be correct about LSU game.

The other ehh I have no opinion.

Big 10 is very North
