Yeah. Bauserman was sent out on a rail, and your new kid #5 isn’t really seasoned. Yet.
I like him though. He looked tough in the first half against Penn State what I saw anyway.
You still have Boom, you still have Posey. I’m not 100% cozy with the matchup at all. UofM’s offense seems to be really coming together, but all it takes is some suspect execution and/or playcalling and Denard is in trouble.
He’ll foat passes out to the recievers hoping for a miracle
He’ll sling the rock out into the flats on a rope, too bad the rope is either 20 degrees above the recievers head or a foot in front of their feet.
He’s been making the decision to run a little too late for quality gains.
It has to be tough for a running QB like that. I hope he finds his rhythm early.
So they were talking about the SEC divisional tiebreaker today on ESPN, and Arkansas is basically screwed no matter what. If they beat LSU by enough to get voted into top 2 and LSU drops to 3, they lose the tiebreaker to Alabama. If they beat LSU in a nail biter, they don’t leapfrog Alabama, LSU maybe drops to #2(not even a 100% certainty), LSU wins tiebreaker.
They’d have to hope for some awkward voting scenario where people vote Arkansas to #2 over Bama, and keep LSU at #1(or them #1 LSU #2, but as I stated above, to become #1 would probably require an impressive win, which would most likely drop the Tigers to 3).
Now, given that there is no big12 title game this year though, they might still get in as the #2 team to the BCS title game.
Obviously this all requires LSU losing, but this BCS situation still has a chance to be really, really fucked up, and cause a ton of controversy(PLAYOFFS, PLEASE).

^^LOL… sorry DixiesFinest
This past weekend has totally turned college football on its head. I hope Arkansas beats LSU but then still gets screwed (i dont actually hope for that but it would/will happen) and then LSU plays Bama again in a barn burner 9-6 National Championship Game for the ages LOL
I cant believe all of the top teams that have been losing lately.
The Hogs have to come out of the fog of losing a player that died on Sunday morning too.
Oklahoma State losing to Iowa State was incredible to see. Really a great game.
But when you factor in the whole scene of Ok State losing members of the athletic community in a plane crash the night prior it definitely plays a factor. It has to.

The BCS is going to go nuts if Iowa State pulls this out.
It’s a good day to be a Cyclone!
Chaos continues. Did Corso drop an F-Bomb on CGD? Loved the TCU flag in the background.
Yeah! I didn’t notice it but I saw it on my facebook newsfeed. Hell of a game. I had a bunch of rowdy bama fans in my barracks room cheering us on.
Congrats on a huge win! I’ve always liked ISU since we met in the Houston Bowl, 2005 I think. That was the most back n forth game I’ve ever seen. I was impressed that you brought so many so far. Your fan base was very friendly. Good luck the rest of the season.
Thanks! I remember that bowl! I thought it was the EV1 bowl but I might be mistaken, but I was still an undergrad when it happened.
I think EV1 was in fact the sponsor. It seems to change frequently.

I believe it played a factor for sure, but honestly, when you’re the number two ranked team and you’re playing a team that Sports Illustrated (I think) has called one of the worst teams in NCAA football, you should be able to pull something out.

NDSU fan.
Were you happy or disappointed this weekend?

Very happy. Go Griz.
A couple of weeks ago I thought I had tickets to the Griz/Cat game but alas it didn’t work out.
I see you have “temperate climate” team coming to visit Fargo in a couple weeks. The Griz will meet either a Tennessee or Arkansas team in Missoula on Dec 3. I always love it when the weatherman gives them a bitter cold Montana day to contest the pigskin. Ha!
I may attend that game or if they advance, the next. Scuse me, WHEN they advance.
My 9 year old daughter has been asking me to take her to a game all season so I got tickets for the first round. Last year the Bison were lucky to make the playoffs and made a pretty good run and got screwed up in Eastern Washington in the quarter finals. If they were to make it to the finals I think I will try to get tickets, it will be a good time of the year to head south for a couple of days.

Ok State was overlooking ISU and focused on the OU game. Also it’s nice to see another ISU alum in here. The win Friday night was probably the best I have seen, it was even better than when ISU beat then #8 Iowa my senior year.

Gotta be honest, I loved that ESPN had to keep going to the endzone and sideline cameras because the overhead shots were too shaky.
That barn must’ve jackhammered into the ground a foot with all the stomping going on. Place looked like a madhouse, and that’s a tough thing to translate on TV. Good for the cyclones. Even if they’re not all that good, they ruined Iowa early and Ok St. later. Something to hang your hat on for next year.

How are my Trojans behind Oregon in the AP poll after beating them, and they both have 9-2 records ?
I think the pollsters are often more motivated to keep the status quo then anything else. Take the coaches poll. How many coaches have the time to watch all the games? None. It has been expressed by the coaches before that they have in mind their team, their conference and their schedule.
Not hearing about USC for a.couple of years, and getting rid of that smarmy head coach has made more willing to be positive about the program. Damn, the worlds a-changing.
