I totally agree - and I’ve chucked out exercises before that have given me chronic pain. I’ve always had a somewhat ‘loose’ left clavicle… It’s a little weird.
If I rotate me arm forwards (kind of like a backstroke swimming type motion) it feels like the joint ‘sticks’ for much of the movement before finally popping out with a nasty sounding pop. I haven’t broken anything that I can remember, and it’s only on my left side, but it’s something I need looked at.
Unfortunately this pain has persisted and is now present on all my chest and delt-dominant movements. Which really bums me out. I row and chin far more than I bench and shoulder press - my back has gained more mass than anything on my latest workout. But maybe it’s time to focus on the posterior delts for a while and drop dipping.
Big sadface.
