CNS Fatigue and HIIT

Based on her goals (primarily reduce body comp. and increasing hypertrophy), available training time, training experience, and a couple of other factors I have someone doing a total body workout 3x a week. I am going to incorporate HIIT (high intensity interval training) 2-3 times a week as well. From the following. . .

Plan A
Day 1 - Total Body
Day 2 - HIIT
Day 3 - TB
Day 4 - HIIT
Day 5 - TB
Day 6 - HIIT
Day 7 - off

Plan B
Day 1 - TB & HIIT
Day 2 - off
Day 3 - TB & HIIT
Day 4 - off
Day 5 - TB & HIIT
Day 6 - off
Day 7 - off

I am concerned about CNS fatigue. The TB workouts are all compound movements consisting of 1-3 Sets with 10Reps. (no sets to failure) However in order to avoid a negative impact should I couple the HIIT sessions with the TB workouts or do them separate, on off days? I have a general idea but just in case I wanted to see what you forumites thought about the plan? Thanks

wouldn’t doing total body already make you tired? How would you be able to recuperate in time to do HIIT?

so you’re saying that option A would be the way to go. . .

if anything id say go with B and do HIIT in the morning and TB way later in the day and eat enough or you’ll go way to tired
