Club Bouncer Holds zman Hostage in Bathroom

Prison all i can see is just make people into criminals. I mean really giving this guy 5 years is RIDICULOUS, not like a High school bully would get this kind of sentence(and a fucken kid in high school is god dam developed enough to know what to do and not to do).
What sort of behavior would qualify someone for prison time? Kidnapping, assault, and robbery don’t?

The behavior in the video isn’t indicative of an anger issue. It’s more than that. It’s a video of someone with severe disregard for the respect for others, taking the “law” into his own hands, and clear abuse of another person. If Easton Byfield isn’t a criminal, then please provide your standard of what a criminal is.

I don’t have an opinion on what the sentence should be b/c like I said, if that were my son, that shit would be handled - no police.

However, your comments about “anger issues” I feel misses the mark by a football field. At what point in that video do you see any anger from the bouncer? He doesn’t assault him for a good 3 minutes. The rest of the time he’s just fucking with him, leading up to a cool, collected beating just for the fuck of it. LOL @ anger issues. Motherfucker has issues for sure, and I’m not sure anger is one of them.
You aren’t making an argument for ignoring handling his as an anger management issue. Are you claiming that beating him up or prison will change how he thinks?

Further, why the fuck are you making this some issue about whether it was your son? Both of these people were grown ass men that you were NOT related to. In fact, I doubt anyone here is related to anyone in that video…so why do you keep responding as if this was some personal attack?

It wasn’t.

I mean, holy shit, maybe YOU need anger management classes.

Fuck.

He didn’t say that the man didn’t commit a criminal act. He brought up what good prison will do as far as changing this man’s perspective. You haven’t answered that.

Are some of you able to debate this without acting like anyone who isn’t trying to beat him up is trying to screw him?

“Why put a guy with a anger issue in prison?”

He reduced the offender’s behavior to an act of anger. Stating “Shouldn’t he be in rehab or treatment for anger issues?”. Sure, prison won’t help someone with just anger issues. My contention is that Mr. Byfield’s behavior goes beyond anger.

There is also a double standard for profiling drivers around Houston by police. Guess which way that pendulum swings.

Yes, there is a double standard…like there is for damn near everything else we perceive in society.

I will rant and rave about the ones that cause the greatest social damage…instead of acting like I think the world will start to look like Crayola sponsored the design in terms of everything being fair across the board.

That was why I brought up crooked cops. This one bouncer does not represent anyone but this one bouncer…and while some on this site haven’t gone there in terms of responding with the racist remarks of other sites, that doesn’t erase the reaction that is being experienced as a collective.

Where is the hate crime charge?

Do you think for one minute if the races were reversed and some white bouncer (or white guy in ANY capacity) had a black guy get on his knees and “pray” to “oh great fucking white dude”, “oh great motherfucking white dude” that there wouldn’t be a “hate crime” charge there?
Uh, yeah…because they aren’t already charging him with everything they can find.

Just a tip…but if this really has you wound up more than it would if both of the guys involved were the same color, you aren’t any better.

Really?

Well, tapping into collective fears and filming it is probably not a good idea.

The only thing he could have added is to bang this dudes girlfriend with a 10 inch cock, thus ruining her for all white men to come.

To paraphrase Malcom X, the most dangerous creature on this planet is not an angry black man, it is a scared white man.

That post shows the double standards. You’re quoting a black hater for wisdom like he was the frigging Gandhi. If I quoted some ‘white supremacist’ talking about race then it would be an atrocity.

Funnily enough, Gandhi actually disliked blacks and did not think very highly of them.

I agree that there is also a double standard with racial profiling by the police. Both should be addressed.

I believe we rant and rave about the issues that directly affects us most. All of us do and I’m not saying there is anything wrong with that.

What?!? This guy IS a criminal. If he doesn’t deserve to get sent to jail then who does? Anger management? Are you kidding me? What this guy did was sadistic. It wasn’t some outbreak of uncontrolled anger.

Exactly. Although it is just a matter of time before he profiles a victim poorly. He will eventually end up with a blade between the ribs or a gunshot wound.

OK, how is this instance affecting you?

Are you now at more risk of getting held in bathrooms by black bouncers as a result of this?

The answer? Hell no. If anything, after they get done throwing everything they can at the bouncer in this instance, you will have far less than most to worry about.

Therefore, how can you act as if your response to something like this is the same as my response to something I have faced several times over and will face many times over in the future?

That was why I mentioned raving about problems that have the greatest social consequences…and this damn sure ain’t one of them.

I doubt it. Anyone capable of taking action in another way would have long before they became cornered or vulnerable.

That he didn’t get his jaw broken or his eye socket shattered out on the floor when he approached the guy is pretty much proof positive that he picks the right people to fuck with.

Just a guess, but I’d say that bouncer has been doing shit like this for a long time in one form or another.

If we are going prosecute white men for mentioning race when they assault a black man, it should go the same way when a black man mentions race while assaulting a white man.

How does it affect me? If I am ever the victim of hate crime (as defined by the law), I want the person doing the assaulting charged and prosecuted for it.

Dude, my guess is, any guys with more test than the average 120lbs couch potato may have some issues with “anger” given how soft the rest of the world has gotten. This is not an era for vikings…but dude, you aren’t talking to someone softer than you. You aren’t talking to someone who won’t fight for what he believes in or someone who has never been in a fight…and won. That is why your comments here aren’t impressing me.

Yeah, the bouncer is an idiot. No, no one died and this shit happened a fucking year ago. I was MORE pissed at that video about two years back about the fat dude who walked into a pizza place and started beating someone up as people just stood around and watched.

I do not understand the huge issue you are having here as if this man’s comments warrant the response. They don’t. He’s an idiot…who loses all power if you just avoid his fucking club.

This is no one in a position of power that you don’t let him have. This is no cop. This is no judge, no teacher teaching your kids and no doctor treating you. It is one dumb guy who has allowed all of the racists on random websites an outlet that they would ahve found one way or another anyway.

White people are not at risk of being kidnapped by black bouncers. This is making less sense the longer it gets dragged out.
