Progression 2,5% each workout. Starting on 70% of 8RM ending on 110% after 8 weeks.
The reps will start about 12 each set and drop to about 6. As the reps drops I will add extra sets.
You’re thinking just WAY too much. Progression models are nifty and everything, but things seldom go exactly as planned as far as training.
Just choose a few exercises for each bodypart, set them up however the hell you want, and try to add weight or reps each week. Stop trying to make something so simple so complicated.
warsoe use the search function to find the “Professor X: a request” thread and read through that from start to finish.
Before you start using fixed progression models, get your lifts up to a respectable level (your bodyweight as well, obviously).
You’re just limiting yourself at this point, especially considering how you set your progression model up…
And once you put up some decent numbers, you can start looking into the better p-models like Wendler 5/3/1… Though such things aren’t really required for bodybuilding purposes.

If we were to insist that all beginners restrict themselves to the beginners forum, then all posts in the bb and strength sports forums would be from the same, oh, 15 or so people.

Can’t have that, now, can we?

I’ll give you that. It would be less interesting for sure.
What can I say C_C, you are clearly a much more patient man than I am.

Well, you are a bit of a choleric… I mean, force-choking people all the time 'n stuff.
(don’t you just wish that it were possible to do that over the internet? The bigger you are, the stronger the chokehold… Bwahahahaha, 110lb baby-trolls beware)

LOL!
Trust me, I’ve tried (especially over the phone). Manning the Tech Support line for years has shortened my fuse even further. Sometimes, attempted force choking, whether via the internet or over the phone, is the only way I can get through my day.
