Clarification

Hey, ive been lifting for a little over a month now and found this site about 2 weeks ago. I made the mistake of buying N.O. Explode and some isopure protein as my first supplements. As expected the explode didnt really do much compared to the amount i payed for it and the isopure just tastes horrible.

Now that ive experienced the what not to do, im looking at buying Biotest related producuts such as the Surge recovery, the creatine, and the Metabolic Drive. My question is how should i take these? Put the creatine into the Surge post-workout from what i understand? When should i take the Metabolic Drive ?? Also i heard the Metalobic Drive is good tasting, how does the Surge and the creatine taste? I can barely get down 5/6 ounces of the isopure before feeling like throwing up.

Im not sure about your Surge/Metabolic Drive questions but Creatine monohydrate is tasteless, could have different flavors if you get anything aside from pure monohydrate. Aside from that, you cant down isopure? 0_o

Yep. On the days you don’t workout, just take 5 grams of creatine on a mostly empty stomch.

Take it whenever you want, with meals, between meals. Whenever. I usually try to get 3-5 scoops throughout the day, with some 1-scoop shakes and some 2-scoop shakes. It depends on how much protein you want to take in (whole food + powder).

I happen to think that either chocolate or banana is the best flavor, especially with a teaspoon of peanut butter and a few ice cubes. But there are seriously no “bad” flavors. It’s just whatever floats your boat.

Creatine is completely flavorless, so there’s no problem there. I actually haven’t tried the Surge Recovery yet (either flavor), but a lot of people are really liking the raspberry. I think some people were doing 1 and a half scoops of original and one and a half scoops of raspberry, but if you don’t want to get 2 bottles, you can’t go wrong with the original. Just make sure to use a whole bunch of water to mix it in. The flavor can be a bit strong, when you’re first starting.

The Isopure is fine. THe NO Explode is questionable, as some like it, some say it’s worthless.

As for Biotest stuff, good shit. The MD proteins taste great and Surge is a great recovery drink.
