I discovered that cinnamon covers the nasty flavor of whey isolates so that they don’t taste so bad. I used, cinnamon that I got from Cinnabon but cheaper kinds might work as well.
I read a study somewhere that cinnamon helps with glucose clearence. It somehow influenced the enzyme systems responsible for this. I put it my shakes as well.

I’ve been buying cinnamon at the grocery store and premix it with my recovery blend. I use 1/2 - 3/4 teaspoon per serving. There have also been some studies with diabetics that show that cinnamon potentiates insulin’s effect. This was on reducing blood sugar level, so I’m not sure if this helps replenish muscle glycogen. - Nylo
