What a fucking asshole
Yeah, what a dildo. Extremely childish…
Unless you act I don’t think you know what kinda pressure he is under. SO what he blew off some steam. Atleast the lighting guy is not going to be walking behind the set anymore. lol
I think everyone is allowed to blow some steam here and there. Even Batman, Bruce Wayne, and John Connor.
Happens all the time. It is not random and whoever he is yelling at probablly should have had the good sense to look where he was going.

Hah, must be some serious tren, then…
There’s only two things crew members need to do when not actively working in a scene- shut the fuck up and stay out of the way. Also keep in mind that grip may or may not have been dicking around on set before that. We don’t know all the circumstances. Yeah he went over the top a bit, but I completely understand why Bale flipped out.
At the risk of taking a flaming, I must say that I’m surprised to see everyone condoning his actions. If anyone did this in the real world, he would be considered a psycho with serious pent-up aggression and impulse control problems. I guess movie stars are better than everyone else, though, and it’s perfectly acceptable and understandable that he would do this… (sarcasm)
So anyone planning on seeing the movie, not going to go see it because of this?
I didn’t think so.
Bale is a method actor, remember the American Psycho set?

Nah, I’m not upset at it, just surprised that so many seem to think he was in the right… I’m just going to pirate it off of a website, anyways

I agree, I’d be fired from my job regardless of the circumstances. He is apparently a pre-madona.
I’d probably take a swing at someone for talking to me like that. I certainly wouldn’t stand there and take it.
WHOA. He could have handled that differently. He whines about that guy not being professional, yet totally acts unprofessional in dealing with the situation. He sounds like a spoiled brat. Anyone notice how his accent changes the angrier he gets?
Still going to go see T4 though.
No matter how angry Bale gets, he still tries to hang on to his American accent.
It’s a mark of commitment when he rips into the lighting guy for walking into his shot and manages to stay in character to do it. He’s a true pro, that’s for sure.
The lighting guy must’ve asked himself: “was that the tortured artist Christian Bale tearing me a new asshole, or was it John Connor, leader of the resistance and saviour of the human race?”…

Exactly what I was thinking, I just didn’t want to say it because the internet tough-guy thing is so cliché. Famous or not, everyone needs to be accountable for their actions.

… he would be considered a psycho with serious pent-up aggression and impulse control problems…?
LOL at this… I never had a job where two months went by without someone blowing up over some shit. And from the sound of it, that was the second time that sound guy had interrupted a scene.
Uncalled for, IMO.
You shouldn’t berate people like that for messing up. Its childish and accomplishes nothing. “Patrick Bateman” would get a boom mic shoved up his ass if he spoke to me like that.
As for actors like Bale being under tremendous pressure, they get >15 MILLION DOLLARS per picture! I would spread honey on my balls and allow a Kodiak bear to lick it off for that kind of money. Hell I might even return the favour if the deal were cash-in-hand.

You don’t think so? Damn, where do you work where people blow up like that?
