I saw it. It kicked ass. Denzel is the man. I need a big ass machete.
Good. I’ll go see it now in the theaters. I was waiting for him to get a really good role again. He’s been “ok” for like the last 4 or 5 movies.
Glad to hear it, the trailer looked good. Although older, it’ll be hard to top Man on Fire. That was unbelievable.
Saw it last night myself, and it was a pretty cool flick. The end was a surprise to me, but it’s one of those endings where you find yourself replaying earlier scenes in your head trying to pieces things together. Definitely one of the better flicks I’ve seen lately. Not gonna win any Oscars, but still good entertainment.

Hey guys I am thinking about seeing this movie, can you give me a heads up without spoiling the ending for me?
Some one tried to tell me that all the fuss is about him carrying a fucking bible or some thing if thats true is this just a religous movie with an agenda? Or, is it infact a great movie, not based on religous overtones?
And I agree 5.0 Man on fire was a great movie, gonna be hard to top that.

You are one strange individual if you really have problems with what you are stating. Anyone who sees a good movie yet says it isn’t one because it has a message isn’t there to see a movie.
I guess these are the same types who can’t enjoy a movie like Avatar without seeing politics in every scene.

b-but the blue people are native americans! and we’re taking their land and HEY! Where are you going?
No, I just don’t like a lot of the bullshit religous movies. I loved avatar, but X it is people like you more so then people like me that look deep as they can to find racism in every aspect of anything. So don’t give me your B.S. about me being strange and not liking a good movie because of the subject matter. It is exactly what I said B.S.
And above so there is no misunderstanding I was saying that Black people are the ones pissed about Avatar, not us strange individuals.
And also X on a side note I will discuss and or debate movies with you all day long, movies are what I enjoy more then any other hobby I got.
This looks alright. I like Denzel, but he plays the same role in every movie, or should I say he plays every role the same way. In every movie he does he has that “KING KONG AIN’T GOT SHIT ON ME!” moment. At least he’s consistent I guess. Probably wait until it hits the shelves.
SPOILER ALERT!!!
Stop bitching and see the fucking movie.
Come on Wol you call what i said bitching, for real? Or you just got X’s back since I am a Vanilla face?

Both. See the movie! Take a girl with you! Sodomize her during the previews!
Just get out of the house!

Exactly,
and Pacino and DeNiro as well. People praise them as actors, justifiably, but they have no range. Same character, different movie.

If it is justifiable that they get praise, what are you bitching about? Very few actors on the planet have significant range to play any part and be unrecognizable…and even then it depends on the movie and the character.
Most people didn’t recognize Eric Bana in Star trek…and it isn’t like his make up was done in a way to obscure his face. Some might say Brad Pitt has some range, but in truth he does the same schizo act to different degrees as his only “range”.
Bruce Willis may have some range considering how he was in Death Becomes Her to Die Hard, but who is really acting on a level where you simply do not recognize them in different parts?
And further, why are people so damn picky when it comes to this topic as if they don’t get that certain actors are chosen for certain parts because of the strengths of the actor and not because one guy can play everybody?
Hell, if that is the case, then Eddy Murphy has the most “range”.
I am really interested in who you think has so much “range”.
The crazy religious lady in the Mist has range but again that is only to a degree.
woah woah too much looking into the details here people…range? haha wtf I LIKE seeing the same actors playing the same role in a different film…gives different scenarious and shit. Hell I don’t want to see fuckin Pacino play some cuddly shit I want to see him get angry and yell and make great speeches damnit!
Lol as well what was that thing about Black people being pissed about Avatar? I am curious.
As soon as I wrote that I knew Wol and PX were gonna defend Denzel, haha. They choose Denzel because of “star power”, and he is a good actor. But, the facts are he plays every role the exact same way.
I heard Mad Hatter on the Box [PX will know who I’m talking about] say the same thing not too long ago, so it’s definitely not that my cups overflowing with “haterade”, Wol. I think I wrote that exact thing here a few years ago. Oh, and don’t ever say anything bad about Bruce Willis. He was John McClain for chirstsakes.
