Get arms to 16" while still lean with your build is easily doable, and by easily I mean 1-2 years dedicated training and eating. That much I can say
yea, arms are a bit of a weak point, i have looong arms, but am starting to see some muscle definition…ill take your advice very seriously. What about chest and shoulders?
It all looks in proportion, proportionally small that is.
Yes, you’re lean.
Adding size at your age should be easy, and if you manage to get your arms up to 16" then everything else will grow in proportion too… if you want to get bigger, now is the best time in your life to do it.
Kid, for 16 you are doing ok. For a grown man, you look like a small newbie who justb started training but is too underdeveloped right now to be judging “weak points”.
Let me see if I can speak like a fellow 16 year old.
“OMG, you don’t have the rolls of flab like 99% of the other kids in class and we can actually see muscles…so therefor you must be King Of The 10th grade.”
Dude, you’re dealing with people who have been there and done that years back. Honestly, I knew tons of guys way bigger than you with minimal training in high school. They played football.
In America, you would be “average” only way leaner than average.
I used to go to school with Hakeem Olajuwon’s nephew and that kid was built like he belonged in the IFBB before we graduated high school.
You got a ways to go to be on the level as people like that.
I know your goals are “cap America”…and that will take more time and size to reach.

Please google the term “Stoicism”
The world is full of enough melodramatic headcases pretending to be men. I understand you aren’t an adult yet but stop treating bodybuilding as if it’s a life or death situation. Relax.
I imagine that if you start eating 1.5-2x what you currently eat and train 5 days a week with some intensity, you’ll have a fairly solid build in about 2 years time.

yeah, i guess so. God how i wish i could get a better picture, how much does a camera cost? I agree with all you said, but i watch movies, am a hollywood fanatic and one thing am sure of is i wouldn’t be average in america, you all seem to think that am king of the nigerians who would never stand up in america, i ask my friends to evaluate me based on our favorite movie star physique and one thing is certain, what you all see in those pics isnt what i see in the mirror, or what those who see me in person see. I mean these pics make me look like i have seven inche arms and thirteen inch chest

Would you just be quiet and listen to the guy who’s been lifting for longer than you’ve been alive? He’s trying to set you straight and youre coming back like a typical child would as if youre the first kid to think that youre just being misunderstood.
No one is insulting you. If you dont want to hear the truth then dont ask for it.
Youre a kid. Youre SUPPOSED to be small. Get over it. Do something about it. Posting on the internet contributes absolutely nothing to your pursuit of a muscular build.

No, the pics are how you look in that specific lighting. You just aren’t carrying much muscle.
PERIOD.
Like I’ve said…you would not stand out in Houston, Tx…not even for 16. There are BEASTS in this city in high school. I know this may be a shock…but you are trying to tell people who live here what it is like.
A person built like you wouldn’t even register as someone who lifts weights at all in this city.
There are guys your age with BETTER abs and MORE MUSCLE who just play basketball all day.
That isn’t mean to degrade you either…just to put things into perspective of why you are getting the responses you are.

We know it isn’t what you see in the mirror.
Look, I’ve complimented you…but right now, you are really acting your age.
That would be fine if you hadn’t already shown you are capable of more.

Where do you live? Looks like Durban, I’m from SA too by the way.
People are you around probably ‘average’ so to them you look ripped. Can you not see that everyone here is trying to help you? You want to look like Frank Zane, you need to get bigger, and to do that you need to start eating a lot more.

You cant beat a nigerian in an argument, nah, am actually taking pointers, just trying to keep conversation going so i can hear more. Do i sound whiny so far? People are getting angry at me like am acting whiny…sorry about that, im just stubborn, iv heard all you guys have said, appreciate it, thanks all
