I dont like.to.give specific rest periods

Use as.much as needed to have enough in the.tank for.next set but.dont “over rest”

Usually.smaller.muscles will.require less rest 45-60s while bigger muscles/exercises will.require.more (2-3mins)

Fwiw i usually.take 45-60s for arms
60-90for.pressing/rowing
60 for.flyes and stretching.movements on back
60s for legcurls/leg ext
2-3mins.for.squats.legpress.deadlift[/quote]
Oh okay, I prefer one week rest between squats but I think I might have to go 2 because 1 is killing me!! LOL

This thread is awesome and definitely gonna follow it. Lots of good advice for beginners like me

What’s good everybody, sorry I haven’t checked in in awhile. It’s the end of the semester and I’ve been typing, cramming, and reading my life away. Nutrition and training have still been spot on but my sleep has suffered a little bit the last few nights. After tomorrow it’s the summer so no more distractions other than work. I’ll post everything tonight or tomorrow depends on how it goes. Here’s week 2 pics

I can’t wait for the day I can put “Wheels” instead of just “legs”

Back

For shits and gigs, Branch Warren doesn’t have anything on me

Thanks brotha, sure why not lol

If anyone could give me the EXACT place you are supposed to measure yourself on your waist, legs, arms, chest, calves that would be superb. But heres my first go
Waist: 34 1/2"
Left arm: 14"…that’s humbling lol
Right arm: 14"
Left thigh: 22"
Right thigh: 22"
Chest: 39 1/2"
Left calf: 15 1/2"
Right calf: 16"

Strength is about the same as last week, I havent noticed any huge increases/decrease
I was feeling pretty stressed but that should all go away now

A good rule of thumb is to measure at the largest spot around. But just keep measuring in the same spot you measured today and you should be good.
