Chicks Dig 5/3/1

I’ve hit my two current 10RM PR’s on both the squat and deadlift with zero sleep. Go figure.

This happens but then we eat, sleep and train perfectly for weeks or months and sometimes it can seem morning goes right in the gym

Last set of squats…need to stop from coming up on my toes

90% of the time your gut feelings are right at some point or another.

I’d just give it a shot. I never get too emotionally invested in anyone it is college after all. If shes a cool girl give it a go, play things how you want to, and enjoy the ride. If things go south, at least you had a good time.

Also I cant really see your elbows but the way your upper body looks bent I can almost guarantee that they arent underneath the bar how they should be. Also, if youre going to go that low bar it might benefit you to lean forward a bit more with your upper body IMO. however I also squat in wraps so that might be part of why I say that with just keeping balance

I have a really tough time getting my elbows into position because of my right shoulder so you’re right, they aren’t where they should be.

I’m sweatin like a mother on this EC

Why’d you choose EC at this point, instead of just diet and cardio?

I don’t want to drop my cals anymore because they’re already at 2300-2400 now. I’m slowly increasing my cardio to 1 HIIT per week and 2-3 low intensity sessions per week up from never doing a cardio session in my life.

Week 7 Day 3

barx a bunch

I tried doing skullcrushers but my left elbow hurt and tried doing tate press but the same thing happened with my elbow so I did bodyweight skullcrushers in the smith machine 4x20 then a big drop set of close grip pushups to failure on the smith machine, then raise it up a notch then that 3 times.

Walk for 12 min

Bro talk, if you’re talking to a girl is it okay to have a small insecurity that her old boyfriend plays in the NBA and makes millions of dollars? Or am I just being a bitch
I don’t know the whole situation, but I will say this much. Nobody in the D league makes millions. It probably isn’t enough to retire on, and women always exaggerate shit to make themselves sound more desirable.

She isn’t with him for a reason, and she is with you now for a reason. Sometimes, I have found out the reason my girlfriend’s last relationship didn’t work out. It can tell you a lot about the person. Be careful digging though. Sometimes you find answers that you don’t want to find if you really like the girl.

Just be awesome and do your thing. Date her how you want to date her (not how she wants to be dated), and if she is for you then it will all work out.

If not, just get back up on your horse and ride to the next town bro.

Also, be careful to not mistake your gut feelings for insecurity. Sometimes you’re on to something, and you squash it because you mistake it for being an insecurity. Then you end up in the situations where you get to sit there and tell yourself that you knew better haha.

Thanks dude, best post I’ve read in a long time. Alot of good life lessons in here…my favorites, don’t mistake your gut feelings for insecurity and be careful digging
Well thanks for the kind words. I hope it works out well for ya haha.

I can also attest to the being drained on sleep and hitting some good lifts, or even making PRs.

Maybe it has something to do with over-reaching in a very short period of time, or like when you do a 10x10 you have a rebound set somewhere between sets 7 and 9?
