solid day indeed- nice pulls

Good work OG. Looks like things are progressing nicely.

Thanks Dave, keeping my head down//

tmill, foam stretchy, dislocates

Squats 225x3, 245x2, 255 2x5x205
Pause Squats 2x5x185
Hack Squat 6x135, 3x6x185
Rev BB lunge 8x95, 2x6x115

Peace

Lots of squatting. More power to you!

How is the program feeling right now? Too little? Just right?

Skip,

It feels good. I am only listing the last work sets so there is a bit more, but overall my shoulder is hanging in there ( going for deep tissue work today)…It will be interesting once the weights begin to climb over the coming weeks. My biggest issue at the moment is bench. I’ve been completely flat and regressed a little so I am switching it up and using Paul Carters over warm-up and then max rep approach to see if I can get myself back to were I was.

Thanks Kev…I still suck at all this stuff, but just a little less than I used to ! Thanks for dropping in

Strong dead work and nice squatting, progress is solid.

Coming from you, many thanks GV !

Dave’s thread got me thinking about meets again.
Do you have any specific targets you would like to hit in your meet? Or are you playing it by ear until you get there?

Skip I know what my openers would be based on today but I have a few months yet to lock in…As far as what I want to hit in each lift I haven’t wrapped my head that yet other than a 435 DL. only because its 2.5xBW and seems like a cool thing. If I total 1000 it would be a great day for me…

Assuming your squats stay in the game, I believe you will hit, an exceed 1000#! You already have the 435# DL in you. With your bench, that is 700# already.

Now you’ve got me pumped! Looking forward to this! I just wish the meet wasn’t so darned far away.

Thanks Big Man, now you are getting me going! much appreciated.

Rise: 0402 …

Late logging, putting new bamboo floors in the first floor of my house ( most of it anyway), and the place is chaos and the computers aren’t hooked up. ( I’ll do that tonight)

Tmill, foam, stretchy, dislocates

Pause BP 5x135, 4x165, 3x185, 2x205, 5x225, 10x185
MP 3x9x95
HS seated Row 12x90, 10x140, 8x180, 6x200
dips 3x12xbw
wide neutral deadhang chins 2x5 ( bagged out on doing more I sneezing and hacking from all the dust at home and generally not having a good time so I bailed)

Peace

Yeah…you’ll be good for your 1000#+.

Nice bench.
I refuse to comment on the chin-ups that you and Steve do. At least until I can do more than one and it doesn’t look like a walrus trying to climb a mountain.

Forgot to log Saturday’s workout

tmill, foam stretchy, dislocates

DL 8x135, 3x185, 3x225, 2x275, 5x1x325 ( Belt, EMOM), 345
deficit SLDL 10x135, 8x185, 6x225, 4x245, 4x255
GM 8x95, 8x105, 6x115
Pull through 12x170, 12x200

just following the plan, which means no DL this Saturday…boo!

Thanks Skip, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a walrus climb a mountain…I demand video !!

Tmill, foam, stretchy

Squatz 8x135, 5x185, 4x225, 2x245, 1x255, 1x275, 2x5x225 walked out 335 to see how my shoulder would feel… It definitely complained a little bit but not awful. So to try and ride this out, I am dropping BB Rev lunges so my shoulder doesn’t have to be in that position.

Pause Squatz 2x5x205
Leg Press 11x335, 9x425, 7x425
Hack squat 10x135, 10x185, 8x205, 5x225

felt good today other than the walkout…working the plan.

Peace

Great work, Paul.

I always liked the walkouts. Even used it on Bench and MP, just to screw with my head and teach myself that what I am actually doing isn’t so bad.

Hack squats? Glutton for pain, huh?

How did the rep at 275 feel?

Strick, the Hacks are done on a machine… I should have noted that sorry.

The 275 felt fine, I was little fast on my decent and over corrected and damn near paused it, but it went up fine and without discomfort. I’ll be hitting deep tissue again next week which seems to be helping a little more each time and hopefully keeps the bag of bones pliable enough so that I can complete the mission.

You didn’t need to point that out. I assumed they were on a machine. But those things always made me knees scream! Maybe I was doing them wrong…likely.

Glad that 275 felt strong. I was hoping you would say that…lol.

I may have missed it during one of my many absences…is the shoulder “issue” just tightness? Or is there actually a malady that you are dealing with?

Either way, keep it up. Looking good!
