I am getting huge shoulder pumps on my chest day. I have been doing some shoulder mobility work and dislocates but my shoulders are still more sore than my chest the next couple of days. I have also altered my form by bending my elbows more towards my toes than straight out but all to no avail?
By your avatar and program looks like you are BB motivated. Not sure what kind of weights you are handling, or other specs, so hard to give advice. But personally, even after years of having seperate assitance/shoulder days for benching, I think you should always combine your pressing movements into one or two days a week. Isolation is a myth.
Agreed. I also find the more Dumb Bell work the more it hits my shoulders. They have to stabilize more. Also some people are more chest or shoulder dom. than others. you have to take that into account.
