Cheating Patriots

Morons-

Do you not think one of the assistant coaches would have said something if this was occurring for the last 5 fucking years. I mean at least somebody had to have some integrity. And forfeit the superbowls? Has anyone noticed that the pats were the inferior team for the second half in at least two of the three superbowl wins? I mean if this was going on continually, how could the patriots lose any big games (broncos and colts in the playoffs)

If we are talking about unfair advantages, why do we not talk about continual steroid use by other teams. I know the patriots have had Rodney Harrison come up in the news for it lately, but at least they are not accusing others of cheating like that little bitch LT. I mean how can you accuse others of cheating when you knowingly have some on your team.

And for the dink who said the pats choked against the colts last year. I say congratulations dipshit, they won by four points and we had half our defense out due to injuries and many were cramping. Yea cramping, hmmm. Has any other team had this much trouble with cramping to the extent the pats did that game. Is it unlikely those little pussies jacked up the heat in that stadium and practiced in that environment all week? Sounds like a little manipulating on their own part as well.

See you in January, and I hope LT gets fucked sunday night. whiny little bitch.

This is a pretty severe penalty but when you look at Wade Wilson’s penalty compared to this the Pat’s got off light.

jimmyjames66 pls slow down, go take a poop before you hurt somebody or your intestine.

Constipation is a bad thing, take some Metamucil or Castor Oil and you’ll be fine. Consuming too many protein shakes may be hazardous to your well being.

Peace to all NFL football fans, Pats included.

Im a pretty unbiased football fan and I believe I judge objectively. Though no team can take away DALLAS COWBOYS supremacy of Americas team. It is who they are.

A question to all the Pat Fans, what if the Colts where taping on your field on your sideline stealing signals? Obviously we all believe they will meet in the playoffs.

How would you want Tony Dungy to be punished? Be honest please.

Tony Dungy is way more of a man than that Belicheat, just a though.

This is a pretty laughable post. “I’m unbiased” and then “Tony Dungy is way more of a man that that Belicheat”. Sure you are.

I think the punishment fit the crime. I’d be happy if roles were reversed that they got the same thing coming to them. There you have it. Please bestow on us more of your unbiased opinions oh football swami…Not!

Sarcasm radar not working heh?

But seriously I was asking because most of us would of reacted like Shadowzz and his compadres. In fairness the punishment did not fit the crime, but it did fit with the current punishment standards of the NFL.

If the Colts did it and lets say the Colts had won 3 superbowls and we had just won one, I would be upset. I would be really pissed. I hate the Colts and that would give me a reason to say that they were not really good, that they were just cheaters, but really that is all just hoping.

I would hope that the Colts were really gaining a significant advantage and that we really were better. I mean that is what this is really all about. The fact that it actually effects the game. Forget that it is against the rules for a moment.

I would hope if the Colts were in our position that they really werent as good as they seemed and that their cheating actually made them better.

About your last statement. Tony Dungy is way more of a man than Belicheck. What does that mean? What are you talking about? What were you thinking when you typed that? Sure he seems like a nice friendly guy, and lets not forget the fact that his son died which is a horrible thing, but does not make him way more of a man than other men.

Belicheck isnt nice to the press. Neither was Parcells or Mora, or many other coaches. What are you talking about? Do you know him? That has got to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard. So what he won the superbowl with an incredible team who’s quarterback basically does the offensive coaching, at least of the passing plays, for the team. How is he more of man? Please tell me.

I assume the Pats got off relatively lightly because plenty of other teams are also guilty of the same sins. I do wonder what will happen the next time the Pats (or some other team, more likely) get caught.

Now moving on to the Sunday nighter, all you childish Pats fans are going to be disappointed. Bringing in Adalius Thomas (prob the biggest freak of nature in the entire NFL) to cover Gates and Dallas Clark was a great move against your main rivals, but you’re still missing one of the league’s best DTs in Seymour and your defensive leader in Harrison.

I don’t know if your top CB is up to speed yet either, and all of that is a lot to overcome.

Hopefully these two teams can stay relatively healthy and meet up in the playoffs again, just don’t expect much for this week’s matchup.

(btw I’m not an SD fan, just sharing a handicapping perspective)

To respond to you Shadowzz… I do believe Dungy is more of man, in Christian terms, look at Belicheats history with that lady he had an affair with, or when he lost last year to the Jets and not shaking the head coachs hand. His jerk attitude, it is real easy to be an asshole, trust me I know, I am one.

Belicheat is so easy to hate, look at Tony now. A real Christian man, he may or may not be so. Who cares? He is real like-able. If you wanna continue acting like a little kid and say my statements are dumbastic…(real word?)

Belicheat is a hell of a head coach, no doubt about it. But I am only saying Belicheat is one hell of a jerk, so please keep acting like one on this post to prove me right.

I dont blame you if the Cowboys where in the same boat I may act just like you.

Other teams do this too. The Patriots just happen to blatantly record the signals rather than having some dude with binoculars sitting behind a cup in a trench coat recording every defensive signal and its corresponding play from the stands.

Randy Moss and Tom Brady > Jets in triple coverage

Just thought I’d add that.

I agree Tony Dungy from what I know of him one of the better moral human beings there are in sports, period. Sure. If you had said that to begin with I would agree with you. Depends on your definition of man. A “Christian Man” is not what I usually think of when someone is described as being a man, but I see your point, and I agree.

Exactly.

It is the recording that is illegal and far more effective.

I just now saw this thread, and i haven’t read anything in it.

I’ll start off sayihg that I hate the patriots. But if you think that the patriots are cheaters I’ll tell you why you’re wrong. Every team is doing it. even the [insert your favorite team here] the patriots are just the ones who got caught. However I use the term caught loosely because there isn’t a referee that makes sure it doesnt happen?

Does the NFL check their game films to make sure they don’t have any signals on it?
Thats why teams have to switch up signals. Plus they don’t play the same defenses every week. Its not that big a deal, but the media is blowing it out of proportion.

Good point. Stealing signals by camera would make you markedly BETTER in the second half, not the first.

I wouldn’t quite call this thing a tempest in a teacup, but it’s close. The media is blowing this into something far bigger than it is. Of course it’s bad, maybe they should’ve suspended Belichick, although taking a first round pick is pretty harsh. But as others have said, I suspect the reason they didn’t is that many teams are guilty of similar offenses. It’s the audacity of Belichick and co. that’s troubling.

And most NFL dynasties have had similar crimes. Denver and San Francisco were both guilty of big cap cheating, the 70’s Steelers were in the forefront of steroid use, etc. No one seems to put any kind of asterisk on their titles.

Alright, people are going to hate me for this, but it illustrates a point. Tony Dungy’s son committed suicide a year ago. I’m not going to make any snide comments and won’t make light of what is no doubt a tragedy.

But for someone (Dungy) who supposedly preaches togetherness, strenth of family and good Christian morality, he sure didn’t take care of things at home. I’m guessing a job tha requires you to be away from your family 100+ hours a week didn’t help matters.

This doesn’t make Dungy a bad man…it makes him a holier-than-thou, hypocritical preacher. I would rather someone who’s brutally honest, both in his strong points as well as is weaknesses (as I believe Belichick is).

I’ll take care of that…

Why is everyone saying it is the videotaping of the signals. Thats the key. Here is the problem with that. ZAP is thinking of when he uses 3 different signals for his flag football league and if someone were to decipher it he would be screwed. Its a little more complicated than that. Its not they cheated they knew exactly what was going to happen on most of the plays in the second half.

I am not surprised at all. They always seem to call the right play at the right time. Now we know why.

I think they should suspend Belichek for half the season.

I wonder how well Brady will play when he doesn’t know the defensive calls.[/quote]

Dude you really are a dipshit. Lets go down your list of bullshit.

#1- “I am not surprised at all. They always seem to call the right play at the right time. Now we know why.”

You really are a dumbass.

2#- “I think they should suspend Belichek for half the season.”

Not Happening

3#- “I wonder how well Brady will play when he doesn’t know the defensive calls.”

Played even better than last week. Eat shit.

LT on the Pats…“If we play them 10 times, we will beat them 9 out of 10.”

Time for LT to shut his mouth now.
