Found weekend emergency/urgent dentist. They stop taking patients at 7:30p & we walked in 7:45p. called wife as she is visiting her family @ 7 hr drive. get insurance info and paperwork ready. got tooth pulled at 11:30 today. Top row before molars. Not noticeable if I smile. Told the Mrs I want a gold toof (and a velvet tophat and cane).
Haven’t had to dip into T3 w/codeine yet. managed to eat several pbj sammiches, too many scrambled eggs w/cheese and a can of spaghettios today and @ 1 gal milk.
Dentist saw meet t-shirt I was wearing and said a mouthguard (while lifting) may have prevented this. Consider this a PSA.
Wif da gold toof you be pimpn’. Noticed some lifters using a mouthguard at several meets so I may consider using one myself for future heavy squatting.
I think you may be right on with the call on the deep tissue rip in my hip because the symptoms you described are exactly what I’ve been dealing with. On the mend now with tons of therapy.
1st session with the mouth guard. Will take some getting used to. I normally lift with a dip in. Hells bells, if I am awake I have a dip in. Had to no dip tonite.
Good stuff hawkcapt1912. Nice looking programming, I like the way you have it structured.
I did a plane pull a few weeks back for Special Olympics. My team finished 3rd overall out of 80 with a time of 11.4 seconds. Good times but MAN OH MAN are those things tough to get started. Once they are moving it’s not bad, it’s the getting it moving bit…
I swear they were stepping on the brakes at first… LOL
spent the day playing golf and car shipping with my 21 yr old daughter. back was a little tired after golf. I walked instead of riding. Got my cardio for the rest of the year in today.

Thanks for the compliment. I bastardized Wendler’s 5/3/1 and Lilly’s Cube method. Tweaked a couple of things and ended up where it’s at now. I’ll sell it on the internet to fat kids and make tens of dollars.
What state are you in? We were a little over 7 seconds but were still f-ing around when dude said Ready and hit the air horn.

went to dentist before lifting. got feeling back in my face after dling. dentist commended me on using a mouth guard. made sure that socket was ok for split tooth that got pulled last weekend. he did some spackle work on molars that apparently were affected. yay me.
dl (worked on wife’s nutrition paper last nite so DL tonite)
kind of left the reservation tonite. was to do deficit dl but that didn’t sound like fun. instead played with the fat bar and chains.
dl (fat bar with plates - total weight 250)
1x5 +40# chain
1x5 +80# chain
1x3 +120# chain
1x1 +160# chain
1x1 +200# chain
0x1x2 +240# chain
miscalculated and thought +200 was total 420, when it was 450 at top. got what thought was 460 to knees but it was actually 490. pleased with tonite’s effort. back reminds me that I can be a dumbass at times.
squat
2x5 (back had had enough).
took tomorrow off - 21yr old daughter plans to buy her own first car. have been thru the entire process with her - don’t want to see her get taken advantage of. will make sure to wear tightest meet t-shirt that I have
