So I’m a little late with congratulations 8/9 with some PR’s is an awesome day, plus that squat certainly wasn’t a “gimme” you definitely got deep.

Went back to original 5/3/1. Gonna give it a run for a while. Did prescribed reps today. Haven’t squatted in almost a month. Trying the discretion being the better part of valor thing.

Ran 1.5 miles yesterday. Gonna try to do this on off days. Nothing fast, just a good, steady pace. I still have the 400 & 800 attitude of trying to go too fast. I ran those when they were still referred to in yards and not meters.

Last night = 1.5 miles run. felt much better than previous attempt.Pace was good and no stopping until end of block.

#2 graduated high school. She has enough AP credits to almost satisfy here freshman year. She wants to get into nursing like her cousin & my wife (her step-mom).

I went to a college that had a big nursing program. Nursing students make lousy friends - they’re busy studying all the time. Anyway, good luck to her.

1.5 mile walk/run with wife. He first roadwork in @ 20years. She was former track athlete in college. We jogged @ 1/4 mile amd walked the rest. She’s gotta start somewhere…again. I’m just glad she wants to do this for herself.

She’s even mentioned joining the gym where I train. I am truly blessed. Yes, she’s standing right behind me.
